We arrived in Noosa on a rainy Monday afternoon and went for an unpretentious Google restaurant hunt for dinner. We end up bumping on Maisie’s website, which being honest it is not great, but the straightforward and elegant menu gave us the confidence to give...it a shot. What a wonderful decision we made. The place is really nice, the service is friendly, fun and accomodating and the food...ahhh the food was amazing. We had a delicious calamari rings to share and then we ordered a steak with peppercorn sauce that would make NY’s Peter Luger envious. Great job guys. Keep up with the good work!More

We recently visited this amazing seafood restaurant whilst on holidays in Noosa. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. I had the whole lobster and can honestly say it was the best I have had for a long time. It...was extremely affordable and great value for money. Everyone enjoyed their meals and service was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone after a yummy seafood meal.More

I have NO IDEA what the food in the restaurant is like but obviously they cannot cope in the kitchen. They have hundreds of newly printed take away menus sitting around, plus HUGE newly made take away menus on BOTH sides of the building, so...one would conclude that they DO DO take away!!!! I walked in prepared to order, with menu in hand, and was abruptly told by a staff member with limited English that they were not doing take away. This was NOT in holiday period, and the restaurant was HALF FULL. I turned to a more mature staff member who had better English but STILL abrupt who stated that they were not doing take away. I was quite prepared to wait outside for a long period but all attempts to order were rejected. With hundreds of menus and large well presented signs outside naturally I was shocked and disgusted. If the kitchen cannot cope when half full, then I have no idea how they could present a good meal when full.More

Pity we went to this restaurant based on reviews and left disappointed. The grilled fish was dry and tasteless and the chips were very ordinary particularly as this is supposed to be a specialty. Won’t be returning.

We hadn't been for a while - last time it was all take-away due to C19. Carlos helped us then so well. But - being my wife's birthday we went to her favourite place. We'd been to George's in the City recently - a similar...styled spot - but Maisie's leaves it for dead. Lovely ambience by the Noosa River. If you book early you can get a table on the window - awesome views - especially at lunch time. Parking at the door - if needed - we Ubered ! It is also BYO which really helps. Staff friendly and efficient but very busy the night we went. However - still willing to stop and help and take a photo. Cold water and ice bucket was quickly provided. Anne had a margarita - which she said rivalled the ones I make at home. High praise indeed. The men cracked the first bottle of red. We started with entrées. Chowder for the Lady - superb; and the boy and I shared a dish - Noosa River Prawns - with chilli and garlic. It was easily enough for us. For mains, Anne had a whole lobster mornay - not cheap but she loved it. Me and the boy had steaks - well done so we got the warning about cooking time. Steaks (rib and eye) came with "Bug" toppings and sauces of choice. Also chips/potatoes and a nice salad. As advised the steaks did take longer - very thick and we like them cooked through - ie pink in the middle - but not bleeding. All meals came together and the break between entrée and mains was great - time to talk and sip the wine. Although the view goes as darkness falls it is still a lovely spot - and the rain made it all glisten. Quite popular for a Monday night - so remember to book. No room for sweets after our sumptuous feast, so we bade our farewell and went in search of our Uber. I would recommend this place highly and we will certainly be back. Thanks guys !More

Tonight my wife and I dined at "Maisies" on the recommendation of a local, and what an excellent recommendation it was. The food was superb and plentiful and the service from the wait-staff was attentive and very friendly, to be honest it felt like we...were being welcomed as regular visitors rather than "one off' clients. I couldn't recommend this eatery higher and will advise my family to visit when they on the Sunshine Coast.More

Maisie’s at Noosaville has been there as a thriving business for years and it’s easy to see why it is so successful. I went for lunch during the week. The restaurant has a fine view of the Noosa river and is pretty laid back, no...white tablecloths here. The food is lovely and fresh we had seafood basket, lobster and it finish sticky date pudding. I recommend you have their garlic bread too, best I have ever had. Prices I felt were reasonable and the serving size is generous. Can’t wait to go again.More

so disappointed with the lack of service. seated very efficiently menu and water arrived promptly. and then we wait and wait for our order to be taken. After 20 minutes just got up and walked out after 2 separate couples who where seated well after...us had thier orders taken. However the avocado on toast my darling husband made was delicious and a lovely way to end my birthday weekend.More

Very dissatisfied with the over cooked bugs and eye fillet. Staff initially did not acknowledge us after being seated and we had to call out to order drinks. Seafood entree for two was average in quality of seafood and when mains arrived eye fillet was...over cooked and chewy, bugs topper were also over cooked and dry. When asked to redo staff were uncooperative and unprofessional in response. I was offered a piece of rib fillet instead of the rib eye as the rib eye would take over 15 mins. When the second piece of meat arrived no care was given to presentation or even cutlery, sauce, salad etc. was present or offered. VERY disappointed and will never recommend or dine there again. Partners meat was cooked to liking but arrived cold.More
