We enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at Maisie’s during our holiday in Noosa. Oysters Kilpatrick to start followed by Grilled Fish with Chips and Salad and the Reef Mornay. Small intimate restaurant with great atmosphere. Service was wonderful and quick. One complaint was false advertising on the seafood platter. Stated King prawns on menu but we were served Tiger prawns. When we questioned staff the response ‘King is the brand of the prawn’. Come...on now don’t insult our intelligence.More

Second time coming back and once again did not disappoint ! Shared the seafood platter with my wife , all the seafood was fresh. Had the Profiteroles for desert , absolutely amazing ! Great staff , fair price and awesome location. My go to spot...for seafood in Noosa !More

Have visited this restaurant in previous years and enjoyed the experience. Last night was most disappointing. David’s fish fillets were,rubbery and tasteless,perhaps they had been frozen! No one returned to take our drink order.. Will give this place a miss in futureMore

Went to Maisie’s for a “last night in Oz” meal with my family, always enjoyed the food and value for money at this restaurant previously but how things have changed. We booked a table for 5:30pm which turned out to be unnecessary as the place...was empty. The staff were very attentive and friendly and served us drinks in a timely manner. We ordered two half lobster meals and one steak meal, to say we were disappointed with portion size would be an understatement, I’ve had bigger Mooloolaba prawns than the lobster we were served and I am amazed they met the legal size for lobster fishing. The baked potato and chip portions on both meals were minuscule though the salad portion’s were overwhelming. The serving staff were extremely efficient and friendly and seemed less than surprised when negative comments were made about portion size. It’s such a shame as Maisie’s was my regular special place to dine in. Not any more.More

Very disappointing. Ordered the platter for two, they bought out oysters separately. Us thinking it was part of the platter - but it was not. Ended up getting overcharged $68 for something they said we ordered. As I don’t eat oysters I knew this wasn’t...true. Couldn’t be bothered arguing so ended up paying. He didn’t even try to bring up original order just what he put through the till. Other than bring overcharged, food was ok but tasted like it had been in the bainmarie for a while and not cooked fresh. I would expect freshly cooked seafood for a seafood restaurant. The takeaway further up the road (holy mackerel) was cheaper, fresh and cooked while we waited.More

Good food at reasonable price but felt very pressured to order after being asked twice within the first 5 minutes! Once ordered was never approached again for additional drink orders or even dessert! When we got up to pay (no one came to table with...bill ) and commented that we would have had dessert if someone had asked if we would had like some the Gentleman whom l assume was owner said that my facial expression when taken our dinner order made him scared to ask!!! Very rude thing to say to paying customer there are much better restaurants around with good friendly staff! Don’t bother 😡More

Came here for my birthday seafood lunch. Chose the hot/cold platter for 2. It was excellent. The seafood smelled of the sea which meant it was very fresh. Cold component consisted of prawns, mussels, oysters, smoked salmon, a Morton bay bug and a crab. The...hot deep fried component- chips, 2 snapper sticks, scallops and prawns. Mixed salad and fruit salad as well as dips and sauces. Loved the lot. We also had the dark choc mousse and Panna Cotta. We highly recommend the restaurant, the server and the chef's. We went twice to this restaurant during our visit to Noosa. The first time we ordered the hot and cold seafood plata and it was delicious. The second time we ordered the cold seafood plata and the lobsters and they were disappointing. So our recommendation...is the hot and cold seafood plata as it was wonderful. The staff each time, even though they were obviously very new, we’re absolutely fantastic. They could not do enough to help us. So all in all a pleasant experience and we will go back!More
