The cafe is easy walking from the parking area and a few tables and chairs outside. A variety of premade sandwiches, hot food, drinks etc available. We ordered before the bus load of tourist arrived but had to wait for our order to be made...while all staff served the busload tour. Check opening hours are they only have a short opening time.More

Can't get staff so only a very limited offering on menu. Coffee good but cafe is operating as takeaway only. There are tables and benches in picnic area with toilets close by.

Went for a family walk to the Cascades on New Years Day. Enjoyed lunch at the Wangi Falls Café afterwards. Food was great with the BLT the best that I have had. My eldest son and I both enjoyed the BLT with copious amounts of...very tasty bacon. WE will be ging backMore

Only interested in bus tour groups. As independent travellers we weren’t even allowed to sit and eat in the cafe! And to be honest we were rudely told this as were others after us.

Best burgers in the top end. Situated about 100m from the falls. Fresh food with a decent variety given its in the middle of nowhere.

I ordered the salt and pepper squid that comes with chips and asked for a garden salad also (even though it was not on the menu) the price was reasonable. The salad was fresh and the squid was very tasty. I would recommend lunch here.

Covid-19 may be the main reason why only takeaway was available as there are tables and chairs Limited food and drink choices. Could be better

We arrived at the Wangi Falls Cafe at 1.22pm. My husband ran in to order 4 veggie burgers as the cafe closes at 1.30 pm. However he was told; Mate, we're closed! When my son inquired why and pointed out that a) it’s not 1.30...yet and b) the sandwich board outside says cafe open, he was literally yelled at and told: you should have checked the opening hours on the website. The operators tone was belligerent and rude. This guy must hate his job and has never heard of customer service. He went on complaining that the government has ruined his business. Sure the overseas tourists don’t come any more, but here were 4 Aussies plus at least one other Aussie couple who wanted food, potential takings of $100 to $150. If business is so bad, why not serve 6 customers 5min before closing and increase the takings? So, take a picnic and enjoy this absolutely heavenly place without hassles. PS I still don’t understand that a cafe/kiosk has opening hours from 11.30 to 1.30 I’m sure I’m not the only one who would enjoy an ice cream after swimming.More

The swimming is great easy access for all people. The Falls and water hole is beautiful. Water always warm doesn't take your breath away. The restaurant is picturesque, reasonable priced and food is great. Remember it is remote , so not a massive selection, but...more than enough variety. Easy access from Darwin NT Australia. There are tours or sealed rd to Wangi. Lots of parking space and easy for disabled or challenged people to get to the restaurant or falls. Very close from the parking area. You must have a swim .More

I found the menu quite varied and would suit those people looking for a bite to eat and a cold drink. I noticed several of the tour companies out of Darwin patronised this venue, though to be honest they do not have any nearby competition....Abundance of birdlife to be seen while seated outdoors. Staff were very busy, but still provided a friendly and efficient experience.More
