Fabulous tour to volcanic site next to Furnas. You can see how Tonys's team take out the cooked food heated by volcanic heat and enjoy after the delicious meat and vegetables in the small restaurant. Excellent service as well. We come back, promised!

Very good restaurant and tasty food. I booked table in advance by e-mail and they reply me very fast. We ordered two soups of day, they were very tasty and very cheap - 1.5 euro. We also liked cozido. Portion is really big, one portion is really enough for two persons, no need to order double size. We ordered two... More

Dropped in for a lunch after a swim in the sulfur water. Very popular place, food was plentiful and great. Parking no problem, we have learned to park on pavements by now.

Service was fantastic! Food was unbelievable! Cooked in the ground! I've eaten that same meal cooked on the stove in the US, there is no comparison, the meats are so fresh!

We arrived for lunch at this popular place without reservations. We agreed to sit outside. Smokers were there, but he soon left. I ordered a typical dish of the region, Cozido! It was with beef, chicken, pork, and two, kinds of sausage. The plate was very full of food. Also,on the plate were cabbage, carrots, potatoes and what may have been... More

Food was excellent and even better the staff are wonderful. Great place, great people. The food was delicious but the staff make sure that all of your needs are met. The staff of Tony's took us to show us the Calderias where the food is cooked . Can't say enough about how wonderful they are.

We spent the day at Lagoa Furnas and were excited to eat cozido. Unfortunately Tony's had run out of the dish, perhaps at lunch, since we were one of the first there for dinner. We then had to order off the menu. My husband and I ordered two separate dishes and I must confess they were just terrible!. We started... More

We liked this restaurant a lot. From the outside it looked almost deserted, but we climbed the stairs, and the place was jammed! Everybody (locals mostly) eating and talking and enjoying themselves. We chose to eat out on the terrace (balcony?) where it as quieter. This was lunch, so no couzido, but delicious soup and sandwich. The washroom was clean... More

We were to this restaurant because it was highly recommend. The cozido was only available with previous booking the day prior and therefore we have to ask for another meal. In his web page they don't state clearly that you have to book the cozido the day prior. We send an email to book the table thinking about the cozido... More

Reasonable price for an amazing gastronomic experience. We called early in the morning and only got a reservation for 3pm. They handle large groups, are often full, but still have time to walk around the tables asking if all is well. We went to Lagoa das Furnas earlier to see them taking the stew from the holes.
