We are looking for a new house in this area and while we are driving we found this cozy beautiful restaurant. Wonderful owners and the food was delightful. All fresh products and with a lot of love and care prepared. Lovely hostess full of passion...for her establishment. We can really recommend this restaurant even we have to drive 40 min for it!More

We have visited the Algarve many times and ate here for the first time on this trip. It really is a fantastic spot. A very relaxing, quiet restaurant with amazing staff. Our party had fishcakes, homemade pasta and chicken livers to start and all were...faultless. The ribs for main course are a must!!! Will definitely be returning!More

I came across this restaurant by chance as I was looking for a quiet place (so the luggage would be safe in the car) to have a last lunch before heading off to Faro airport. The fact that it is in such an old building...was also a factor in the choice as most places we had encountered were all very modern. From the moment we arrived the service was second to none. The waiter and the owner were lovely and stopped to have a chat while we were sitting just taking in the idyllic atmosphere. As someone has said they have a set menu, but were happy to oblige when I asked if my youngest could have a plain steak and they also bought hand cut tasty chips out for her too! All the food was absolutely fantastic - I could not fault any of it and the attention to detail over it all was amazing. The scallops were huge and to die for and the steak was like butter. I wish I’d know about it sooner as I would have gone there upon landing in Faro too! Thoroughly recommend this place especially to foodies as there are lots of fancy items on the menu. It is not cheap, but it would stand up to any Michelin star place in london in my opinion. Fabulous food, fabulous setting and fabulous hosts. What more could you ask for?More

Everything is nice at this restaurant. The staff is nice, the owner is a very nice lady, the food is superb and the live music definitely adds a nice atmosphere to the place. The looks of the house has a great style and the terrace...is the perfect spot to have lunch on these warm days. Definitely a place to return.More

after the amuse bouch it was all downhill- we had to change wines halfway through our meal because we had had the last bottle of Kopke Douro red. The crab cakes were not a patch on the ones you can get in Ldle or Aldi...and the pork ribs seemed to be straight from a pre-cooked pack the sort you can buy at 3 for £10 in the UK the Pommes Pont Neuf were a joke -soggy and not over hot. At the next table was an incredibly badly behaved child making lots of noise and at one point crawling under my wife's legs at our table - his carers or parents or whatever took very limited steps to control him. If I wanted to eat in a creche I would go to a Macdonalds . Our waiter was pleasant enough.More

Sorry but I don't know if they allow pets in this restaurant. You could ring them, they speak English ( the owners are Dutch but speak very good English)
