My spouse and I dined at Trica Gardelin for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon in late August 2016. We visited Hvar on a day trip from Split, and we hired a taxi to drive us out to Vrbotska, which is called the “Little Venice of Croatia”. After we walked along the canal and investigated the harbor area, we stopped at... More

Best location in the centar of Vrboska. My wife and me try a few meals in this resturant and everything was very tasty. The prices are normal and Niki is always smailing. They have fresh fish, nature olive oil, good wines, good pizza, excelent scampi... recomended!

We got recommendation for this restaurant and we couldn't agree more on how this is great place. Family owned, by the marina, facing big white sailing boats. Breath taking lobster with homemade black pasta and two types of grouper fish afterwards. The best meals we have ever had!!

This restaurant is a family run affair- run like clockwork- it's amazing to watch their systems. They serve so many people in one night and are seamless in their approach! We had a fish platter which included squid- fantastic as always, served with bread from the pizza oven! Nice house white wine, fresh bread- I highly recommend this restaurant!

From service to cooking, everything in Trica screams "tourist trap". Pasta dishes smothered with cream, precooked/industrial pancakes, loud service, ridiculously priced food... Definitely a "no" for me .

Dear travellers, if you are passing or staying at Vrboska don’t miss this restaurant. There is a saying “a picture speak thousands words”, well, will not write a lot about my experience, will just share a picture of it….. Cheers

As with most restaurants in Dalmatia, the menu is quite boring and offering way too many dishes. For someone who has already tried some local food, their take on local specialties comes off as quite superficial and underestimating for their guests. If you're looking to try some good Dalmatian food, I suggest you look elsewhere.
