Have visited here numerous times but not since the refurbishments and won't be rushing back. Such a shame. Waiters were verging on rude and seemed disinterested. Food was at best average Pork rare in places and the crispy leg of lamb with mint sauce was distinctly lacking in both crispiness and any mint sauce. Then when the bill arrived we... More

Went for an evening meal. Hurried to table by waiter. Felt pressurised from the start to make a choice from menu. Waiter snatched menu, huffed and puffed and made us feel unwelcome. Food average. No WiFi. When we came to pay we were told we couldn't use our card because of signal problems. When I questioned this the card machine... More

We found this restaurant our second day in El Medano. And what a find. The restaurant looks like it has just been refurbished and stands out along the seafront. The service was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. We ordered a sea food paella which was absolutely gorgeous and we accompanied it with a bottle of sweet white wine.... More

The staff here work so hard to give customers a positive experience. Food looks good but we only had coffee, beers and cocktails.

Walked past it - didn't recognise it has been had been modernised! A brave stance having the menu in only Spanish, but worth learning the few words needed to find good seafood and tasty dishes, at a good price. With the moon shining over the water which is sometimes only yards away it could be possible to recreate that romantic... More

Went out to El Medano without booking on a Friday night. Big mistake. All our usual haunts were full. Found Agua Viva never eaten here before so a little apprehensive as it was almost empty. We were not disappointed. The Tapas Starters were some if the best I've ever tasted on the island. Had lamb for main course with mint... More

Strong first impression, recently restyled, modern looking with a fully and only Spanish menu.... with diversity in tapa's , fish, meat and pizzas. Committed employees and manager performing a high service levelserving tastfull food. At our table only enthousiasm, as well about tapa's as about pizzas, pasta, typical spanish meat dishes. Sure to return here at our next visit to... More

Had the worst meal ever! Chicken was dry, lasagne was dry, chips were horrible. Service was poor, we hadn't made our minds up when the waiter came to serve us because it was all in Spanish so we had a dictionary to try and work it out. The waiter then left us and came back a good 15-20 mins later... More

We went here because it looked really clean, was busy and said gastro bar. We thought we would be in for some really nice food. Unfortunately this was not to be. I ordered sparkling water and got mineral water. The menu was all in Spanish so we had to guess most of it which was not a problem but gave... More
