As a family, we've been visiting Limoux for 16 years, and always pay a visit to Le Grand. Why? For the setting, service, and sense of duty. It was the first restaurant I ate in on my first visit, and the last I dined in on Friday evening. Like moths to a flame we trundle in expecting to survive unscathed.... More

We had a couple meals here and the food was very good. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. The mussels and pomme frites were terrific. It was a fun place to sit in the town square and people watch.

We went here for dinner during our three night stay in Limoux. I had the 20Euro menu and my partner a pizza. The menu starter of Fruits de Mer which included fresh oysters, prawns, crab, and sea snail. If it was a little bigger, it could have been called a main course. However the main was a piece of fillet... More

We had a dinner for 10, a pizza night. Just wonderful pizza, friendly service and the wine by the picket was good and cheap. Great location right in the main old square of Limoux. What a way to spend the evening with friends.

This used to be the place to take a family, or large group, who all wanted different meals, from steak, to omelette, to pizza, to salads. But this is no longer the case, the menu has changed so much in recent years, it now seems to have forgotten what is was, or who it is trying to appeal to. The... More

We had a lovely meal here this evening. The service was prompt, the quality of food was excellent and the atmosphere was fab, especially when a jazz trio took to the stage in the centre of the square.

This was the last place we ate in Limoux and it was one of the worst. We were looking for somewhere for lunch and as we'd not been to Le Grand Café we decided to try it. Big mistake. The service was off. I can't exactly say why but it was just a bit wrong. Nothing I can specify. The... More

Have eaten there twice in the past 2 weeks. Had a table inside and out. At lunchtime and evening meal. The standard of food is good with plenty of choice for all ages.

Have been going here for many years. A traditional, reasonably extensive, regional menu. Friendly patron. Mid range in price and quality. Good location.
