Very reasonable compared to the area. Quick service. The food was extremely poor very watery with little taste. Obviously been sitting out for sometime. Don't waste your money and go elsewhere.

One of the cheaper foods we had for lunches. We had a seafood salad, pad Thai, fried ginger prawns and 2 drinks. All for 350 baht. However taste was a little off especially the pad Thai. Prawns were the only decent tasting dish. Hence only 3 stars for this establishment :/

Good local food with excellent service. Reasonably cheap and good portions. I had pad Thai which was delicious. My wife had Tom sum and green curry. I would say give it a try.

As someone who had eaten everywhere in this country I can say this restaurant is not good. Besides the fact that they brought the wrong food, neither the shrimp nor the meat where fresh. My chicken tasted like chewing gum and the vegetable were so raw, they could only have been cooked for one minute... My food didn't really had a... More

I had deep fried beef and fried morning glory. Wife and daughter had duck in orange sauce. Son had fried rice with chicken and spring rolls. Everyone gave thumbs up to the food. Great food. Friendly service. We will be back.

Excellent range of local and western food. The Thai is pretty authentic but ask for "pet mak" if you like a bit of spice. Serving sizes are reasonable for the price, ask to put your beers (they sell Chang) in the freezer as their fridge is not very cold. Be patient with your orders and stick to the menu as... More

My wife and I ate at Kung Yai this evening based on the recommendation of someone we met at the pool. I had the Spicy Red Curry and my wife had Fried Flat Noodles with Chicken and Veg. We shared a Fried Morning Glory with Garlic and Bean sauce. The Spicy Red Curry was really good. Nice and spicy. Flavorful.... More

Situated on the main road passing through the Lamai beach road, a short hop from the Lamai Beach resort, is a simple thatched roof restaurant which hangs out a shingle saying Kung Yai Seafood Restaurant. Well it is our first day in Lamai and sea food is what brought us here in the first place. The restaurant does not look... More
