Looks like no other in the area. Very, very good pizzas and pasta dishes and changing daily offers. The kitchen is really, really impressive, just top! Very nice accompanying wines, refreshing mixed drinks and other drinks, also from regional breweries. The restaurant is usually very well attended (Reservation is highly recommended). Despite the great crowd we were always very friendly. A place to linger and enjoy.

The Havelkjug is one of our favorite restaurants when we holiday here! We have been coming here year after year for over ten years. We love the stone oven pizza! It tastes like Italy. There are also delicious homemade rinds and juices. The service is fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended during high season.

While visiting Mecklenburgische Seenplatte we found little village called GRANZIN which is entrance to the Muritz national park and this amazing restaurant Havelkrug. I would really suggest to visit this place if you would like to experience atmosphere of cute little village with friendly people, beautiful nature by the lake side and some adventures (canoe,...). In this restaurant in summertime you can sit outside in their garden, have food prepared from fresh ingredients which I always highly appreciate, homemade lemonades, pesto, pizza from stone oven,... You just should try this out. And do not forget to book appartment in Granzin3. Its just next door and very lovely. Enjoy :)
