Nice campsite with everything you need. There is also a small restaurant and bar run by the charming Angie.

Just feels strange having found Angies G spot, and she doesn't even know! . I stopped off here for a night, (then stayed for two)!. Just lovely. Angie and Harold were off getting supplies in town, so sadly I missed them. My host Pieter and his friendly staff were just great!. Must make a mention of the three wonderful dogs... More

Super friendly, down to earth,no frills rustic pub and accommodation or camping. Step into the twilight zone and leave your troubles behind. Awesome place to pop in and chill along the river. Watch countless bikers pull through and anyone wanting to escape the hustle of society. Wonderful scenery. Angie won't let you leave hungry. Harold will chew your ear off... More

We tried to visit this "famous" eatery but felt so unwelcome we didn't even go inside. We enquires about the availability of breakfast just before 10 am an were told between the cigarette smoke being blown into our faces that we were too late. After a long awkward pause we were begrudgingly offered a burger. The scowls that accompanied the... More

It may look a bit weird from the outside, but when u go to the pub, the view you get is spectacularly peaceful and beautiful. The waitress and cook are also very friendly. I recommend the burgers! :)

What a different place in the middle of nowhere. Rustic pub/restaurant with a warm atmosphere and friendly owners. Food was great especially the homemade bread and curry but was quite pricey. Would definitely stop there again if ever in the area.

Wow....what a great surprise. We stopped for lunch and loved the extreme rustic setting. Solar power, generators and old fashioned donkey for hot water....that's the way to live. Burgers are great and beers cold. Owner run....The best

When traveling the Prins Alfred pass, be sure to stop at Angie's G spot. This is a true "dive" bar with many quirks and lots of memorabilia. We only stopped for drinks, but there is a limited chalkboard menu and the burgers in particular looked delicious. Accommodation is available- but be sure to stop over, just for the experience.

Great place to stop on an amazing scenic route, friendly people, great vibe and apparently a hangout for lots of bikers on weekends. Off the grid, this is a little slice of heaven.

Angie's is more than a restaurant, it's a place to be. Angie and Harold have carved out a little piece of mountain heaven for themselves and invite others to share it with them. Angie is no stranger to the business world, having owned a 5 star restaurant and has also been owner of an armed response security company. She has... More
