I was not supposed to stop in Kamouraska... in our way between N.B. and Montreal but it was a sunny day and we had time. So we decided to leave the Highway 20 West to enter in a small town called Kamouraska where we discovered a little family restaurant offering French fine cuisine. We did not expect at all to... We were delighted with this simple but delicious Resto that offers a very nice menu and wonderful sunset views of the St. Larewnce. We had been so disappointed with the food in other stops in Quebec, especially Tadoussac, that when we finally did have a good meal we were in heaven. We had drinks, and a variety of Tapas and... Good food, served well. The menu was in French of course, but staff were eager to practice their English to ensure we understood the menu items on offer. The views are amazing and the food is well priced.

By chance we ate here towards the end of our driving trip of gaspe. Pretty restaurant by the sea. A real hidden treasure. Food is good. Good wine and beer on tap. Highly recommend. Kamouraska is a beautiful place.

Sit outside and watch the world go by, whilst eating tapas of outstanding local foods done French style. The staff and owner could not be more helpful along with excellent value for money

L'Amuse-Bouche overlooks the magnificent Saint-Laurent river, and we were there by sundown. A memorable visual experience. We shared a salade de roquette (aragula), prosciutto and bocconcini, followed by the pétoncles à la crème dorée (scallops with a hint of curry) and the pizza des vagues (seafood). Everything was perfect, including the service. The restaurant has a mix of tapas-style items,... More

We got to L'Amuse-bouche toward the tail-end of their lunch period, found a table on the beautiful terrace and settled in to a wonderful meal. The view was exceptional, over the river, the mudflats, and the Isles-de-Kamouraska, service was pleasant and relaxed. We shared Beignets de morue aioli (cod with aioli) - very good; a salad of greenbeans - delicious;... More
