We went to this place for Lunch. the kitchen is terribly dirty, the staff is very dirty too. The place hasnt been maintained and we learnt after our meal that this is the fake Moon Rakers. The original one has an air conditioned cabin and serve pan cakes etc. The menu here is Indian, the fish we ordered didn't taste... More

Really disappointed with the taste of tawa prawns that I ordered from this hotel. The masala they used tasted similar to the one used on the fried fish that we can get from street vendors near to the Mahabalipuram beach at a cheap rate. Also Kerala paratha was very small and not worth the price they charge. Surely this hotel... More

We heard lot about this restaurant, so went for dinner during our trip to Mahabalipuram. It is 2 floor restaurant in main market area. We sitted on second floor. Surprisingly, there was a notice board on floor, "Alcohol is not allowed", and when we sitted first question waiters asked what would you like to have in drink... they were serving... More

My husband and I went here for lunch. There are actually three Moonrakers places, all on the same street. We were told they are all the same and are owned by brothers. We were warmly greeted, were given a table with a good view of the street below, and were shown examples of the seafood before we ordered. I had... More

It's gud for non veg only. Veg items are very less and taste also very normal. Masala fish is gud to have for two person. Biryani not available in the restaurant. Fried rice taste is some what okay not up to the mark. Live fish options are available for us to choose and order.

I didn't find anything special about this place. The food and service was okay. The owner was impolite.

The staff does understand or speak English/ Hindi. The standard food on the menu was off from what it should taste like. Neither was the food having local flavours not international. Don't eat here.
