Went for lunch to this restaurant last Friday. The food is superb, the atmosphere is great (it was full so it is a good job we booked) and the service is both prompt and extremely friendly. 12 euros for 5 courses of lovely food including wine can't be bad, only for the waistline! Will be taking all our visitors there.

A very pleasant and charming traditional restaurant. It was sadly very quiet - we were the only ones there. We asked for the fois gras not to be on our starter, and they kindly replaced it with some lovely home made choux buns with a cream mushroom filling. Our steak was nice with home cooked fresh veg. only shame was... More

I have reviewed this lovely restaurant before. Went for lunch today with four friends. The quality of the food is superb, as before. € 12 set lunch menu of 5 courses including red wine. Today we had, freshly made mixed salads (potato, endive/ham and a cous cous one), next was their gorgeous warm leek quiche and home made pate (with... More

We were told by another couple at the Campsite about this fantastic restaurant. They do not speak any English but we managed and they were delightful. It is plat du jour five course with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water all included in the price for 12 Euros. The food was certainly very yummy and it had... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way to the airport. The steaks were being cooked on an open fire and the smell down the street to the 11th century bridge was divine. The food is all home cooked and the portions are very generous. 12 euros for 5 courses. The homemade pate is delicious and the staff very friendly. We... More

One of the best meals/atmosphere we have ever had! 12€ 5 courses wine and coffee. No wonder it was absolutely full of locals having lunch. All home made and delicious, set menu so we just sat and wondered was was to be dished up next. If you want POSH do not bother, but if you like local atmosphere this is... More

Everything everyone else says is true. This is a lovely little place, totally dependable and a 'steal' at around 13€ at lunchtime. This includes a rather yummy salad starter followed by a homemade terrine with quiche and cornichons. Main courses are always good as are the cheeses and desserts. Wine and bread are included. We go at least once a... More

Husband and wife run rural french restaurant with various fixed price menus. Reception always warm and welcoming, food exceptionally good value. Home made salads now lighter and better, bread, delicious paté,choice of meats for main with cheese course and further choice of dessert was,I think, €18. Good choice of local wines, all well priced. Definitely 5* for value.

Whenever we're in the area we try to fit in one lunch here; the workers' menu is predictable but oh, so good. Bread and wine included, start with potato salad, tuna rice salad and coleslaw, move on to a hearty pate, as much as you can eat, served with a slice of quiche and cornichons. Along comes your main dish,... More

This is our second lunch-time trip to Au Bon Accueil, and today we took two friends to introduce them too. We live in France and are always looking for a good quality, reasonably priced meal with ambience - we very often find the first two, but rarely the third - the French seem to like the bright, functional approach to...
