Arrived at 7.30am and the place was almost at capacity already. Luckily I nabbed a table just as some people were leaving, then ordered my poached eggs on sourdough with some hashbrowns. Eggs were perfection, the crusty soudough was exceptional, and the hashies were house...made, and yummy. So happy to get breaky without those hideous frozen hash browns that most cafe's seem to use. Prices I thought were reasonable in this day and age.
Pot of tea with 'real tea' - the correct amount to enjoy 2 cups. So tired of getting a pot with one teabag that is entirely insufficient resulting in a cup of hot water with milk. Lovely.
It's not a place to expect a lot of service. It's super busy, and I understand that most places are experiencing a severe shortage of staff. But yes, I would go back in an instant.More
