Feeling like some good food in my local area , i check the Mudjimba beach precinct . Hightide was open and the best choice . Straight for the Tex Mex Nachos , with a side of sliced chilli to add heat Yumm . Check the...photos and see .More
We went there three nights on the trot, great food , great prices, great service and the atmosphere . The first two nights the young musician was great , the third night it was a pub singer not for me .
Man what a few years it has been for hospitality, and yet the owners of this spot have kept the atmosphere and quality at a great level. The fish tacos I just keep coming back for and the laid back friendly service and small village...atmosphere of an obviously local crowd is infectious and comforting in such odd times. I love this place and keep coming back. Whatever it is you are doing guys please keep doing it.More
This was certainly not a pleasant dining experience. Very loud off key ‘musicians’ , couldn’t talk to each other. Ordered shared plates for 2 and all food and drinks arrived at same time. Could have made better food at home. Packed over priced food into...servietes and left with $40 bottle of wine to eat at campsite. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyoneMore
We came here for the first time for breakfast recently.
We had a Vegetarian Brekky $23( thoroughly enjoyed) and a Brekky Burger $18 ( which I felt was overpriced for a burger although it was nice) as well as drinks.
Everything was quick to come...to the table.
Located in a very busy spot right near the beach.More
Just had five days in this wonderful little town and visited High Tide on three occasions. Great bar and yummy cocktails and of course my little dog Charlie was very welcome. You may have to book though to avoid disappointment as this is a very...popular bar. All the meals we ordered were delicious. Staff very friendly. I have nothing but good things to say.More
The Fried Cauliflower is addictive . Most places mess up Nachos , but not Hightide . Having good chefs in a kitchen helps . Service is always quick and it is a great morning gig , as the sun shines in . Places that are...good always have people in them . Hightide is great, as are all the other Mudjimba places , but Shhhhhh don't tell too many people . Live music sometimes too .More
A bustling vibe on Saturday morning as locals and visitors alike enjoy breakfast or just pick up a coffee. The staff are particularly friendly and upbeat. Food and coffee was standard selection and well presented and generous in proportion. I’d like my poached eggs a...little softer but all was delicious.More
Always delicious food. Had actually not been for a couple of years and re-discovered it over the weekend. A small wait for a table (10 mins) but we did go at peak time. Excellent service, friendly and fast. We had the poached eggs on toast...and Brekky burger. Both delicious. Hot chocolate was the best I’ve had in a long time - and I’m pretty picky with my hot chocolate.More
