Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The best coffee I've had in Queensland. Calamari was really good too 👍 I went on a Sunday - they were quite busy. Plenty staff on to accommodate everyone. I would recommend it to anyone! Thanks team.

Excellent coffee, the best I’ve had so far in Queensland. The coconut and chocolate muffin was delicious . Good service, pleasant staff.

Arrived at 7.30am and the place was almost at capacity already. Luckily I nabbed a table just as some people were leaving, then ordered my poached eggs on sourdough with some hashbrowns. Eggs were perfection, the crusty soudough was exceptional, and the hashies were house...made, and yummy. So happy to get breaky without those hideous frozen hash browns that most cafe's seem to use. Prices I thought were reasonable in this day and age. Pot of tea with 'real tea' - the correct amount to enjoy 2 cups. So tired of getting a pot with one teabag that is entirely insufficient resulting in a cup of hot water with milk. Lovely. It's not a place to expect a lot of service. It's super busy, and I understand that most places are experiencing a severe shortage of staff. But yes, I would go back in an instant.More

We tried a variety of small plates and none disappointed. Mexmix tacos, grilled corn, chicken wings (pick of the bunch, light basting of sauce on crispy skinned chicken), awesome sweet potatoes chips, chicken sliders. The let down was the sangria, a tad too watery for...our liking. This place also makes great coffees.More

Lovely venue that we had breakfast at this morning. Nice seating options either in the beautiful sun or in shade. Priced fairly. Will try here for lunch some time.

Man what a few years it has been for hospitality, and yet the owners of this spot have kept the atmosphere and quality at a great level. The fish tacos I just keep coming back for and the laid back friendly service and small village...atmosphere of an obviously local crowd is infectious and comforting in such odd times. I love this place and keep coming back. Whatever it is you are doing guys please keep doing it.More

This was certainly not a pleasant dining experience. Very loud off key ‘musicians’ , couldn’t talk to each other. Ordered shared plates for 2 and all food and drinks arrived at same time. Could have made better food at home. Packed over priced food into...servietes and left with $40 bottle of wine to eat at campsite. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyoneMore

We came here for the first time for breakfast recently. We had a Vegetarian Brekky $23( thoroughly enjoyed) and a Brekky Burger $18 ( which I felt was overpriced for a burger although it was nice) as well as drinks. Everything was quick to come...to the table. Located in a very busy spot right near the beach.More

Just had five days in this wonderful little town and visited High Tide on three occasions. Great bar and yummy cocktails and of course my little dog Charlie was very welcome. You may have to book though to avoid disappointment as this is a very...popular bar. All the meals we ordered were delicious. Staff very friendly. I have nothing but good things to say.More
