You have to come here if you are on Koh Jum. We walked down for lunch one day and it was so good we went back twice for dinner. It's all family owned and run with fresh fish every day. The deep fried fish of the day with. Garlic ginger was superb and you get to pick what size of... More

After a series of Thai seafood restaurants that featured rich sauces and abundant spices (that we liked a lot), we were surprised to find that the dishes we ordered at Koh Jum Seafood were smaller portions and more simply prepared. We didn't try much beyond crab and fish, which were terrific. Unfortunately, we didn't eat there until the end of... More

We visited Koh Jum Seafood on our first night in Koh Jum and based on the reviews we had read. However we came away disappointed and can only rate the restaurant as average (at best) The setting is nice, on the sea front and on stilts. Please be aware at after c.19:00 there is no view as it is pitch... More

Thai island food can be really drab, not here where they take pride in offering you only the freshest fish, rather than defrosting some old bit of chicken to make the timid backpacker a 'pad thai'. Delicious food in a peaceful setting with an unbeatable view of the mangroves.

Definitely a bit pricey, but we were splurging, and any place you can pick the seafood out of the tank or freezer that's right on the water is okay by me. Definitely a great choice and delicious preparation. I think the grilled prawns were the best dish we'd had. We should have asked them to pull the meat from the... More

We found Koh Jum Seafood while riding through the village and SO glad we did. The restaurant opens up out the back over the water, and taking in the view of the islands and the local villagers and fishermen was special. We stayed for lunch with our kids, they had a chicken Pad Thai and we had the fried whole... More

We visited this restaurant twice on our 9 day visit to Koh Jum and it was great. Excellent food and great service. The tiger shrimps was extremely good. It is an expensive restaurant compared to other on the island but also one class higher. You sit on a pier in shadow (important on Koh Jum) and have an great view... More
