Located in Maitland this is the only proper restaurant for miles and thus reservations can be required. The food was fantastic, but make sure to order a starter or side to your main dish if you are hungry. Service was friendly and efficient even when the owner was cooking and serving by himself!

Bing's would appear to be the only place to go when in Maitland and the people who live there and the travellers that pass through are lucky indeed. We almost ordered the entire menu! I had to restrain my husband from doing just that. The food is incredibly delicious. We enjoyed everything we ate, but we particularly liked the lobster... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the lobster stuffed mushrooms. Both the burger and the special, a chicken dish, were delicious.

Bing's is about a km down the road from the Shubenacadie River Runners, and when we asked for a recommendation for getting a bite after the river, they gave us the name BING'S. Dark blue house, fuschia door. Can't miss it. Man, I don't know what happened to that one other traveler who said it was gross, or what their... More

We had a very nice dinner at this cozy little restaurant on the outskirts of Maitland. All the dishes are made from fresh local ingredients, presented in a colorful and appealing way. The lobster mushrooms were a very good start. The pan fried Haddock was a terrific followup. The one wait staff on duty that night was friendly and efficient.... More

The staff was very unfriendly...our food was half cooked and almost thrown at us. We were tired after travelling and certainly didn't expect to be treated as an inconvenience

It is unfortunate that TripAdvisor allows posts that violate their own set guidelines. While we are open to constructive criticism, this person never set foot in our establishment and certainly did not have this experience. We were subject to an online "hate campaign" due to the fact that we have a strict customer only washroom policy, and this, subsequently is... More

We tried "Bing's" on the advice of another restaurant owner who serves up the same quality and shares similar passion for food. Everything is made fresh. The creativity and flavours are pleasing to the senses and especially the palate. It was relaxing and lovely to take our time and enjoy our fabulous meals. Normally we don't order desert but we... The meal we had was exceptional by any standards. I'm not all about local sourced or organic but I feel it was a nice perk and definitely didn't hinder a blissfully unique menu. Their beer list was the best I've seen on my whole trip for those who prefer craft beers vs commercial large batch companies. The salad they made... More

We decided to eat at Bing's Eatery based on other Trip Advisor reviews and they did not disappoint. My husband and I had the lobster mushrooms, the fish tacos, the Shipbuilder burger and the brownie (double the size I was expecting). Everything we had was delicious and the service was great too. We'd definitely go back if we're in the... More

We were there for dinner. I had a super yummy chicken dish and my husband had "one of the best burgers" he's had. The rosemary lemonade was good too. The server was very polite and helpful.
