Enjoyed a morning tea here before joining the Rail Trail. Lovely setting, such pleasant staff and an array of delicious cakes, scones etc. to enjoy with your cuppa. A lavender shop for all kinds of goodies to buy if you want. Well recommend a visit.

Had a lovely day sipping tea and eating a Date scone served up Devonshire tea style, amongst the lavender at Laurens Lavender farm here in Taumarunui. Absolutely gorgeous, tasty food with plenty of choices, great range of teas and coffees, and not expensive, all in a beautiful setting! Can't go wrong. Will go again, and will definitely recommend.

The Lavender in full bloom was a beautiful site. Our hostess was friendly and helpful, even giving my wife advice on where to get a haircut. The food was fresh and the pot of tea nice and hot.

Was really looking forward to going there, within minutes was told off for standing in a lavender field, apparently you can only stand in some of them, I was not clearly instructed as to which fields could be visited and awkwardly looked at them from afar, in fear of being told off again. The other member of staff in cafe... More

We travelled back from WHangamomona along the scenic Forgotten Highway and stopped at Lauren's Lavender farm, which is not far from Tauramanui. Lauren was just lovely, answered all our questions, told us about how she started, made great coffee and wonderfully fresh scones. Well worth a visit.

Lovely garden setting for a Café and Lauren as host could not be more welcoming. We enjoyed excellent buttered ham and cheese scones accompanied by a good strong coffee. A nice selection of lavender products in the gift shop .

A great place to stop for coffee and scones or muffins. I wished that they did some more lunch type items, perhaps a quiche or panini type things, but even so I would go back. Their scones and muffins were both delicious

Nice cafe and shop - beautiful location! You'd want to like lavender of course! A must stop on the forgotten Highway - and do take this road slowly and enjoy.
