I visited today and was surprised at the cost of the food on offer. Whilst I can understand the charge for sandwiches, which were at the high end for what they were, I was disappointed with being charged so much for what appeared to be...More

Didn’t seem any alternative in Craster for a cafe lunch so took our chance and was immediately struck by the prices seeming ‘top end’. Craster being synonymous with crab my wife ordered her third crab sandwich in as many days and was very disappointed. We...More

Miserable wet windy weather outside -the warmest of welcomes inside! Our little lab was spoilt rotten with sausages galore. Excellent bacon & egg sandwich for me (birthday girl) and himself was chuffed with his bacon, egg & sausage one. Large fluffy fresh buns and really...More

We’ve been here many times before and have always thought that although it is expensive the food was good. Sadly the last couple of times we’ve been the food has not been up to the standard it was. The latest £6.50 offering of a lukewarm...More

Nice coffee and cakes. Not so sure about the cleanliness of the outside area. Looks like it could do with a deep clean. Not too keen on being dive bombed by the family of sparrows who clearly thrive on the leftover scraps. Just not my...More

Ideal refreshment spot after the walk to Dunstanburgh Castle. The crab sandwiches were well filled and made with soft brown bread. The salad garnish was minimal but fresh and the coleslaw was tasty. We enjoyed two cups of acceptable, but not the best, decaff coffee....More

What a great spot. What more could you ask for after a windy walk along the coast to Dunstanburgh Castle. Warm, welcoming and great Crab sandwiches. Friendly staff and quick service ensured that most people could be seated and served. Well worth a stop.

This is a busy little cafe, open 7 days a week. The coffee and service were excellent and we sat in the window so we could watch the world go by.

I seem to remember there was a dog inside - they also have an outside seating area which is definitely dog friendly. Enjoy it - it's a lovely cafe.
