Was a highlight of our trip to Rila. Cool little patio with traditional Bulgarian dishes done well. Recommended for a nice lunch. Didn't stay the night but wish we had.

We've stopped for lunch on our way to the monastery. The service was extra slow, almost 1 hour to get the dishes. And when the food finally arrived, most of it was cold.

We had such a wonderful meal here on our way back from the Rila Monastery. It was actually our best meal in our entire Bulgaria trip. Food was prepared wonderfully and oh-so delicious.

This is a basic but very quiet and clean hotel offering good size rooms with standard facilities. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the evening meal very tasty. My only negative is that the dining room was very cold and the tea water was brought...in an open jug, it soon went cold. I suggest the hotel invest in thermos cans.More
