A nice place to drop by after a visit to Rila monastery. Decent food and pricing. The place is overcrowded at times, so it's better have a booking. Traditional Bulgarian food as well as European dishes.

After visiting the monastery we looked for a restaurant for luch. We avoided the one in the monastery and we started our drive back to Sofia. In a few kilometers we found Gorhim and we decided to stop. Is a country side place that serve...local food with excellent prices. We had a lovely meal at the terrace.More

You can this place after a trip to the Rila monastery. Very tasty food and great staff. There are large round tables in the garden. Very beautiful nature.

Visited this place after a trip to the Rila monastery. The food I ate was tasty but lacking in vegetables unless you ordered a full salad to accompany your meal. Someone at the table got a soup which was not warm. We were 7 at...the table and pretty much got our food at 2 minute increments making it impossible to eat at the same time. Even in Bulgaria where they seem to not synch their delivery of food so everyone gets it at the same time, this was excessive. Otherwise clean and cheap. The power went off during our stay but the staff managed to stay on top of it anyway even when the lights went out. Worth a visit if you are passing by but not worth a visit otherwise.More

Stopped by on the way home from visiting the Rila Monastery. We were the only people in the restaurant and service was quick and friendly. Not sure about the decor - very 90s! Enjoyed some tasty local cheeses and home made breads. Would definitely recommend...for a quick stop for some reasonably priced tasty food.More

We came here for lunch after a visit to the Rila monastery in winter. The fireplace downstairs kept the restaurant warm and cozy. The decor of the restaurant itself is in an authentic Bulgarian mountain lodge style. As everywhere else in Bulgaria, food portions are...massive and it is not a problem to have a full meal with 2-3 starters between two people. Would recommend this place to anyone passing this way and looking for a proper Bulgarian tavern experience.More

Came for lunch! The garden was packed and only one waitress! We did not wait long for the food, nice place after activities and quick stop! Good also for kids to play! Food a bit better could be!
