We went there on a large team dinner. The menu was not cheap (50€ per person) and the food was average and not very interesting. They had several groups that evening, which might be one of the reasons, but I just had the impression they weren't making a big effort...

Dear Ana F Thanks for your comments. Of course we are rather disappointed to hear you thought we were 'average'. 50 eur for a 3 course dinner in a beautiful Christmas decorated private dining room, with your own waiting staff and freshly prepared food, including aperitif, wine and coffee...? Whoever, booked your team dinner made the choices of menu from... More

My wife ordered a linguini with scampi and the food was presented very poor and the taste... awful! We asked to change the plate and they said to us: "Food is good, picture is marketing". Judge yourself with this picture. What we got vs "marketing". By the way, the price was 16€...not cheap. Not recommended at all. We went to... More

Dear Joan B It is always with sadness when we have customers who leave without being completely satisfied. We feed around 3,000 to 10,000 customers a month and have been doing so for the last 35 years in our family run brasserie. We have hundreds of diners who eat every week with us. This wouldn't be possible if we did... More

We started lunch late-ish at 1.30pm. We left just after 4pm; no chasing or hassle of any kind. The staff were courteous, efficient and spoke excellent English. The food was also very good on the whole: try the large starter salad. But the shrimp croquettes were a little disappointing as was the shrimp bisque: both a bit low on shrimp... More

Dear Bill P Thanks for your kind review. We have a typical Belgian brasserie menu which we change once a year, along with specials each month or 2 months. We focus on local products and try to choose organic where we can. We also have a good vegetarian selection. We keep our wine prices as inexpensive as possible and have... More

We ate here on our first night at the hotel and what a glorious meal it was. I am not a beer drinker but the waiter guided me well and I chose a fruit beer (kriek or cherry flavoured). It complemented the meal well and was like a sparkling wine. Service outstanding. Bill came to around £45 which was reasonable.... More

Our meal in this restaurant was excellent and the staff went the extra mile to provide my grandson with a special meal that was not on the menu. Delightful surroundings and well cooked, nicely presented food. We felt like valued customers.

We're definitely coming back to this restaurant without a Bongo. The staff was /very/ friendly and constantly checked up on us. We felt very welcome to say the least. The service is also very quick and the food is good. We also received a free drink courtesy of the restaurant before leaving.

Had ordered the day lunch menu (21€) with a group of business friends, without knowing in advance what it would be, hoping for a fish menu. For a beef carpaccio as starter and a perfectly light panfried salmon steak as main course with buttered potatoes and mixed vegetables, it was a great treat. As we had early afternoon commitments, the... More

Close to European Parliament but not an exciting restaurant. Probably this is a convenient choice if you have meetings in European Parliament. The food is just ok. For tourists, this shouldn't be a choice as you have a lot more choices nearby the grand place.
