On weekends enjoyed a nice and abundant buffet of thai food. Quality is commercial, nothing outstanding, but clean and sometimes crowded. You will find there the basic thai dishes. If you are a newby to thai food this is the place. Good soups, cooked on the spot and your noodles too.

Nice atmosphere and good service. The food is overall good but a bit pricey! Overall I was not impressed.

I meant to try this restaurant for a while because I miss Thai food since I left Asia. The Satay was really good and the papaya salad as well. My son loved the red curry. The cashew chicken was ok but not what I was hoping for. The homemade ice-cream was delicious and smooth. The staff was very polite and... More

After having being on the list of the "places to go" for a long time, we tried out the famous Sunday lunch buffet of this very well known establishment. Notwithstanding the very high expectations, reality was even better. Although from the outside the restaurant is quite anonymous, inside you will dive into a brilliantly decorated slice of Thailand (without being... More

Nice interior in spite of a very modest facade. The food and service are very good and although not teh cheapest Thai in Brussels offers value for money. You get what you pay for. The air conditioning is off a bit: too hot or too cold. The drinks are expensive. The food is consistent from visit to visit although the... More

We had very good food l, but the service was to say the least very slow, we had to ask several times for different fishes/drinks. We got different wine when we asked for a 'glass of wine'... I don't think we're coming back.

Description
Blue Elephant Thai restaurant just south of Brussels City was the first of the celebrated group that may eventually take over the world -- to general applause. This is a chic Thai fantasy, an Eden of exotic flora to take you far from the busy metropolis outside. During the day the stunningly-appointed dining room is naturally lit from the skylight above, while in the evening candles and lamps take over. It is lushly decorated with exotic plants, beautiful orchids, Buddhas, Thai woodwork, comfy bamboo chairs, and smiling Thai-costumed waitstaff.
