Buck’s Bakery Cafe Located at the foot of popular Maleny and Montville on the Sunshine Coast, it’s the perfect place to stop off for coffee and a bite to eat. Years ago we anticipated this heritage listed building to be the NUMBER ONE hotspot for tourists and locals with seating for approximately 85 patrons in the new verandah style alfresco dining. We were Right ! If you haven't been to one of the best places in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to try a pie, then you haven’t been to Buck’s Bakery Being conveniently located opposite the Landsborough Train Station it’s often packed out as we are a popular venue for cyclists to relax and refresh on the weekends on their way up to Maleny.To find the Landsborough bakery, take either Landsborough turnoff, go over the railway line and turn right. The bakery is opposite the car park for the train station. It's not in the general shopping area, but certainly it is worth seeking out if you are in the area. Like many small villages, the travelling customers make a big difference to turnover, and the Landsborough Bakery would be no exception. Try to be "reasonable" with sharing half of each of the slices because the fruit tarts looked absolutely delicious as do the mud cake and cheesecakes. Bucks even attracts German visitors and people from all over the world our customers usually start coming in at 9 am in the morning - we have regulars that come in much earlier though so don’t be surprised if at time you may need to wait for a seat.
