This place was recommended for dinner. We ordered the seafood platter and a bottle of wine. There was so much food we had to bring some back to our hotel! Wonderful atmosphere and great customer service!

I ate at this Restaurant with a group of friends as we were staying across the road at Surf Air Resort. We just walked in and I don't think the owner knew what had hit him. Not to worry he quickly organised the tables for...us and gave us menus. Most of us ordered different dishes, I ordered fettuccine chicken pasta and a side of potato chips. Amazing how quickly all our food was served. I really enjoyed my meal, it was very tasty. After we were finished the waiter organised for each of us to pay our own account which was appreciated. Great food and a good atmosphere.More
We ordered a take away and the meal was very average with soggy chips not what we were expecting. Other eateries are much better
Been here a few times and it is definitely the best pizza on the coast. Great home delivery service too. We will be back again, the cheese pizza is fantastic. Yumm!!
We are very picky people when it comes to the quality of food compared to the cost as well as the quality of coffee. Both were exceptional. We really did not know what to expect, but the food was fantastic, and the coffee was the...best we have had in a very long time. This will be our place to go when we go back to Marcoola!More
Best pizza, must try this place. We have been on the coast for 12 months and tried many pizza cafes and Sandbar is by far the best we have had. Well done and you will see us regularly.
11 of us ordered takeaway recently on Saturday night. We ordered a variety of meals from the menu. All of them were delicious. We would highly recommend.
Had dinner at this restaurant. Bit disappointed as when we ordered from the menu two of our choices were not available. The meal we ordered was a bit average with not a lot of flavour and a bland salad. The pizza bread was over cooked....Would give them another go next time we are in Marcoola as they are a young couple just starting out. I think they should perhaps change the menu from the last owners and try out their traditional cooking.More
We were staying across the road and had dinner here one night and then ordered take away another night. Also had a take away Greek salad for lunch several times. All food prepared and served with care. Really enjoyed both the smoked salmon and capers...fettuccini as well as the chicken, mushroom and bacon carbonara. Deserts are delicious and cappuccino good. Pleasant open air and relaxed feel to this cafeMore
Parking outside the door, Pet Friendly, Clean establishment. Staff a pleasure, friendly and attentive Food what a surprise to get such a wonderful lunch we actually stopped to get fish and chips to eat on the beach & saw this cosy little place in the...same complex and decided to try it. All the meals were large portions every one cooked & presented first class, a diverse menu is offered. Cost was surprisingly cheap for the lunch considering what we have paid in other restaurants. The chips with the Lasagna were so good we had to ask chef for a takeaway portion to have on the trip back to Brisbane Perfect fathers Day Outing Fully RecomendedMore
We stayed opposite at ramada so it was a super easy walk over for dinner. Place looked deceptively empty when we first walked past. Think coz this areas real quiet, plus saw a number of people do take-away. Almost didn't eat here, but decided to...try it coz we didn't feel like eating pizza. Enjoyed the fish&chips - batter was crispy, fish was fresh & chips were crispy & well seasoned, came w some salad on the plate. Only thing is that there was only 1 piece of fish, which had me wishing for more. But there was more than enough chips&salad to fill me up. The hubs had grilled salmon, which was good too. Decided to come back to try the brekkie. I had the omelette & hubs had big breakfast (fried eggs=2xsunny side ups), both were good. Didn't take photos coz we forgot & had already started eating :0p. Haha. Coffee is the usual good standard of merlo coffee that I've been enjoying all over brisbane.More
Just called in and found it by accident whilst looking for a place to have brekky. Excellent service, coffee and brekky was a joy to find. We had Pancakes and Eggs Bennie, both of which were WOW, pancakes so soft yet crunchy on the egdes,...Bennie was just soft eggs and creamy sauce. We'll be back!More
