Met a friend for coffee and asked about their soy milk because I have coeliac disease and some contain barley. Discovered they use a cheap brand with quite nasty (albeit gluten free) ingredients. Most quality establishments use Bonsoy and I would have thought Silva Spoon...could afford to do likewise.More

We had breakfast here and found the first time was great. 2nd time food and service poor. My food came out with half the ingredients missing. When asked why I didn’t receive what is on the menu? I was told “yeah we ran out”. So...if I ordered a prawn cocktail and it came out without prawns is that ok? So paid for food I didn’t receive. Won’t be returning and will share my experience with family and friends.More

I am a frequent diner at this lovely cafe, the food and coffee is delicious. In fact I have taken friends here 4 days in a row this week! I was shocked and disappointed to be told this morning, that there are people waiting for...a table and when will we be leaving?? We had ordered plenty of food and drinks and was about to order second coffees and cake, when we were approached. This is simply rude and I have made a decision never to visit again. I am a local who lives here and have never been treated like that by any cafe or restaurant. So unprofessional.More

I spend every winter in Queensland and the most regular pleasure of my stay is the visits to Silva Spoon. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The selection and presentation of teas is quite unique.. if you love a real tea in a...real teapot then you must come here. Not only can you enjoy many different beautiful flavours but the cakes and meals are really yummy and very generous in size. The displays in the store will help you choose gifts to take home so you won’t leave empty handed.More

The best smashed avo breakfast on the Sunshine Coast accompanied by great coffee and tea. Service with enthusiasm and a smile. What more could you need on a sunny Sunday morning? A special shout out to the delightful young waitress who took care of us;...a real bright spark and an asset to the cafe.More

What a disappointment looked great online. But once I received this for my mum... $40 latter. Thanks for the box.

3 visited for lunch, delightful open sandwiches, plenty of smoked salmon, corn beef, & ham, with good salad & accompaniments. We also ordered Gyoza 6 to share and an open sandwich each. Ordered a raspberry frangipani tart and a slice of chocolate & orange bunt...cake. All the food was delightful tasty and good portions, high end cost. My rose tea was wonderful & husband's lapsang souchang perfect. Have been to this place before and had very good service, this time the wait staff certainly did not have their mind on the job. Our 3rd sandwich did not arrive, despite a lengthy discussion on ordering, waitress was very apologetic, could be forgiven. Ordered sweets later with another waitress at counter, & paid for our selection of take home tea, we waited and waited, thinking kitchen may be busy, eventually went to counter, this waitress stated she forgot to place the order, eventually came. I would expect better service of the wait staff ,obviously great care has gone into the food preparation, especially at high end price bracket which I did not mind, but please, staff, keep your mind on the job, this was mid week & not a full house. Average review reflects the service not the food.More

An unobtrusive venue serving tea & coffee with the most delicious cakes you’ll find on the Sunshine Coast. Surprisingly larger than street appearances suggest with a choice of indoor & outdoor seating areas. I understand all of their delicious treats are made on the premises...so don’t expect the same generics cakes found at other venues, these are special. 😋 The perfect place to bring a loved one for a special treat or to simply indulge yourself ❤️ On-street parking can be scarce in this whole area during busy periods but these cakes are worth the waterfront stroll. Once you’ve sampled this delightful indulgence, you’ll be back 🍰More

Arrived for breakfast at what must have been peak time on a Saturday morning. We had to share a table with 2 other sets of diners. HUGE flower display in the middle of the table making it hard to look around. The coffees were a...bit odd - the latte and the flat white looked the same. The latte tasted a bit sweet / odd. Food and drinks were pre order at the counter. Mine was an avocado plate - very small but very delicious. Mum had an oats type bowl, which was big with a nice side of yogurt.More

Silva Spoon has an amazing selection of teas and they package their own amazing creations to take home. There’s also fabulous tea paraphernalia to purchase. They also have mega cakes to share with a friend. Layout is great also. Sadly I can’t recommend the coffee....Today I had a large l/b & could hardly lift the mug because it was so heavy. No creme and no real flavour. Obviously their specialty is tea😬More
