I came here for lunch with a friend. The ambience was great with delicious smells and great background music. The menu is extensive and in English also. I started with mixed dumplings and then had checked with pineapple, which was served in half a pineapple, which I thought was authentic and fun. My food tasted delicious. They made a vegetarian... It was my last day in Switzerland, and I offered to take a Swiss friend out for lunch. We went looking for a place in Rolle that we never found. But we found this instead. It wasn't great -- but it was quite good. And the service was enthusiastic and cheerful. Like most things in Switzerland, it seemed expensive for... More

Even after many visits to Switzerland, prices surprise me. SF 157 for three without alcohol seems a lot. The new management has improved the food, and the ambience is good. We enjoyed the duck, pork, and beef as well as chicken satay. The vegetables and rice was boring. So, quite good, very expensive for small portions.

Outrageously small portions (and we are not even big eaters). Right in the mood for crispy duck and pancakes but the duck was sliced instead of pulled (would rather just pull the meat ourselves). Only 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce! Egg based pancakes instead of fine rice pancakes. Soup ok but small portion again. Whopping price. Very disappointing and left... More

We had the Peking Duck, it was very very good. Normally, not my first choice but the new owner had trained at La Reserve in Geneva so we took the chance. A good choice it turned out to be! This is truly what good Chinese food is all about!

A colleague and I popped in to Le Tai Pan for a quick meal on a Sunday night. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of food and excellent service. The dumpling soup was great and the sweet and sour chicken exceeded my expectations!

We had dinner there not long ago, the food was excellent we all took different dishes for a try and were completely satisfied with all. The restaurant which had become old and no more up to it's reputation has been revived with a new friendly owner, lovely service and an excellent menue with a large choice ...the daily menue for... Excellent value for money; fine dining; authentic Chinese cuisine; good service. The proprietor and the staff go out of their way to make the clients feel at home. Access is easy, and parking is available. We had been very satisfied clients under the old management. When the new management took over in April 2016, we were quite apprehensive, almost certain... Delicious food and friendly service. Wide choice of dishes - something to please everyone. It seems to be popular for take-outs also.

Very typical Thai / Asian food. Reservations recommanded as it is very often very busy - a good sign - prices average for Switzerland
