The Italian Job has awesome and huge pizzas for a reasonable price, their cheese blend is tasty, chewy and it's sharpness is balanced well, their toppings are varied and tasty, also sell Pasta and other traditional Italian dishes, great for a night in with the family

This restaurant is great but can get noisy on busy nights. And a plus is that they are open on Monday nights. Main courses are large but there is a great choice of entrees.

We have ordered a couple of times from here and the pizza has always been excellent. The pizzas are more of the authentic 'Italian' style, so they are not overloaded with toppings. The base is nice and crisp, making it enjoyable to eat. All of the ingredients are nice and fresh, and they use quality produce. We will continue to... More

Our 4th visit and as usual was up to its high standard, the food was very good and the service was great. Good value for money about $100.00 per couple including entrees and desert.

This restaurant is typical of ones local Italian; it's loud, neighbourly and with a menu to match. The staff are friendly and most efficient. On the night we dined the restaurant was full and the staff were very busy. They seemed attentive to others who looked to be 'locals' I think at the detriment of our table which wasn't! Reason-... Ordered a supreme takeaway it was cold and lacked cheese and scarce toppings. I have tried this pizzeria many times over the years and its their pastas that has me coming back. If you want a good local pizza I say go to Mortdale (Mamma Barone)

We had a family function in this restaurant. It was very noisy and difficult to have any conversation, but worse, the food was not great. The most underwhelming were the pizzas; very thin, chewy crusts with very frugal spreads. For half the price (and twice the quality), get a takeaway pizza from Oatley Pizza Village and eat it at home... More

I've dined here several times and as I was in a big group we had salad, bruschetta and pizza. The food was fresh and tasty and the service friendly. Prices average for similar places. I noticed that the rest of the menu had little vegetarian food. It has all hard surfaces so can be noisy when the restaurant is fairly... More

Reminded me of a "Mama's House" restaurant in Umbria; you ate what Mama was making and a couple of standard pastas, or a pizza. Good, wholesome, not too fancy. TIJ is better and more varied, well known locally for its full range of pizzas (we shared one as an entree - excellent and 'not just cheese and pepperoni!) Some good... More

The name was inspired by the movies (1969 & 2003) of the same name. The friends in the movie have a strong bond of loyalty. Food has always been central to developing this bond for Italians. It is called a cafe rather than a restaurant to preserve the charm of the more intimate, informal family owned trattoria or eatery. It has the feel of a cosy and warm dining room of an Italian family. We serve traditional cuisine and pizza with Italian simplicity and the freshest ingredients bought daily and cooked to perfection to give that delicious authentic taste reminiscent of Nonna's (Grandma's) cooking. Our pastas are al dente with delicious sauces and our risottos creamy.
