Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are several snack be used selling the Purple Lavender Ice Cream and sweet snacks, and 2 cafe type places serving hot food.
They have their delicious Croquettes, and combo meals if Curry, hot dogs etc. Its high end cafetteria level food done well.
You can also get fresh baked potatoes with butter.
A decent option and cheaper than the competing place at the Melon centre outside.
All venues are run by the farm company.
An pleasant hour or two wandering around the gardens and shops followed by the lunch is a nice activity.

If you love flowers, Farm Tomita is the place. Free entry and well maintained, this farm has some of the most beautiful flowers for all 4 seasons. There is even a greenhouse for lavender so that visitors can see and smell the lavender all year round.

We walked around the farm & enjoyed very much, including the food. The farm doesn’t have much blossom flowers, but still very beautiful. The shops are full of fun that have so much to do with lavenders. We bought dried flowers, soap & souvenirs and ended getting into the cafe for a stop. We had vegetable and croquette curry, steamed potato with butter, corn soup & honey croissant and hot coffee. We sat for almost an hour because we enjoyed too much.

frankly speaking, I never paid any attention on Japan’s fruits and veggies until this trip. Hokkaido is known for agricultural products including fruits such as Cherries, grapes and cantaloupe and vegetables such as potatoes and corns. Oh my god, I had never tasted any cantaloupe so sweet and so juicy. Actually, some stores sell the cantaloupe based on the sweetness level. The corn is also very sweet and fresh. Don’t forget to try Hokkaido’s fruits and veggies if you ever come here to tour around.

Beautiful flowers and trees. Don't forget to get an ice cream (lavender, melon or -the best- milk!). You can access through JR train (15min from the station before Furano. There is a closer one but check it out since it's not every month of the year it is working)

A place that everyone will stop as the flowers are beautiful for photos. Try the lavender soft serve ice cream for JPY300 each. They also have melon soft serve ice cream too.

Another breath taking view of the lavender flowers.
A whole patch of lavenders and nice fragrance once you step into the passage way.
Beautiful and it's here hat I can see this.
Motto be missed! But quite difficult to walk up. Steep and have to be very careful.
Must try Lavender ice cream and nice lavender products, face wash, hand creams, souvenirs and essential oils. Especially the hand cream, nice fragrance after putting on.
All in all, beautiful scenery & with the while!

Reasonable food and satisfying to an empty stomach. The lavender ice cream alone was worth the visit.

Very.commercial farm that is a highlight with tour groups - i.e. Very crowded with bus loads of tourists.
Flowers not in full bloom yet but there are already lovely plots of lavender and other flowers this time of year.
There shops, food, drinks, souvenirs and clean toilet.

Hokkaido is the perfect summer place to be in coz weather temperature doesn't get too hot and a must visit in July is the Farm Tomita. It's really not that far from Chitose and it's a beautiful drive to Furano. The lavender fields are so pretty and you also find in their shops everything lavender. Gazing at all the lavender around, smelling the heavenly scent of lavender oil while having lavender ice cream was simply breathtaking!
