Cheap bunker

So much space and they still set it back with entrances on the car park and everything enclosed tightly like a bunker. Not much outdoors. The only things I liked were couches facing the TVs and the cheapest beers I've seen in the Shire, very unexpected.

Keep it regular

Been coming here for years. And it always provides nice food friendly staff at reasonable prices. Great to bring the kids and no one bats an eyelid when they run around crazy. Highly recommended

Sunday evening meal at the Crest Fantastic experience Kids eat free Not loud and busy on a Sunday so perfect for bringing kids along Staff very friendly and prompt Meals were excellent Not even the flash flooding could reduce our experience . I feel for the staff and the fire brigade who turned up due to leaking roof and alarm going off.

It’s a sports bar. We went there to watch the big fight and have lunch. First of all the volume stuffed up , so we could hardly hear.The family infront of us had a kid with an IPad and had it full blast. We complain to the staff as we didn’t want to start anything with these people. Nothing was done . I had to chase down the manager. She eventually had words with the mother but we could make out exactly what was said, so rude.The kid kept playing with the iPad and we left. Haven’t been back. It’s a sports bar not a day care

Stopover Dinner

After a long day trip down south, we stopped here for dinner en route back to Sydney. Table reservation was made thought it was quite due to the long weekend. Food came out pretty fast, staff members very friendly and cheerful. Beef ribs portion was generous. Chicken wings with choice of 3 sauces. Prawn linguine not in photo was spicy. Southern fried chicken burger also huge. Kids meal $10 included a drink and ice cream.

We went for my Grandaughters birthday. Food was good (Big portions) Table service a bit slow, but overall had a good night

Good food great value

This place is a great little find. Went there for lunch and the food was great and brilliant value. The serving portions were so big I could have shared the entree. Quite enough to have a chat over lunch, stupidly well set out with the tables placed with a but of space in between and not on top of each other as most of them are.

Not a Bad Meal

Had dinner at the Sylvania Crest Hotel and I have to say I was impressed. Food was tasty and the beers were great ! I will go back for another feed . Children welcome also. Not as noisy as I thought it would be .

Lunch at the Crest

Well I would have to say from the outset that must pubs now days say they have great food but must simply don’t but the Crest Hotel is the exception my wife and I arrived after a internet search had said it was good and as it was not far from us we took the view “why not”. Well now the only question I have is “why not sooner” the staff are excellent and the food was very impressive I had the Ribs and wings and my wife had a steak and it was medium so this makes the chef there one of only three working in pubs I have seen that can do that and as for mine the ribs fell of the bone and the wings were outstanding as well all in all the only issue was there was to much but when you have quality like this you do not mind.

Wonderful Experience

Shop often at Southgate Sylvania but had not eaten at the Crest Hotel, was pleasantly surprised when the family and I had dinner their last night. The Hotel was typical hotel/pub design and unpleasant as we had to fight our way past the smokers at the door entrance, smoke partly drifting inside the restaurant zone, leaving foul smell to deal with. We found a nice seat that was not polluted by the incoming smoke. Meals are ordered at a counter, the dishes came from the kitchen in quick time and the size and quality was exceptional, all 3 meals were good size and portion, I ordered the Ribs and Wings, 500gms of ribs followed up by 500gms of chicken wings, salad plus coleslaw and chips. Totally full and contented after a good meal.

A Hidden Surburban Pub Gem

This place is part of The Crest Hotel in Sylvania, near the shopping centre,During weekdays it offers a $10 menu(provided you buy a drink at the bar, which doesn't have to be alcoholic).I had a make your own salad( with various add on choices) with beef. My better half had a steak sandwich.Both were excellent and great value.There were many other options on the menu, and they looked enticing.

Good week night dinner

The Dinner we had there was great, the wait was barely noticeable and the place was full. They would do with a revamp of the wine list and less harsh lighting but other than that we are for sure going back.
