Service was fine. Like most bakeries, this storefront will give you the donut you like in a plastic bag, the top of the donut covered in a napkin. Unfortunately the frosting usually comes off, and I found my donut covered in ants after a three minute walk. Will not return.

The donuts are still not the resl deal but quite ok. They don't really offer you good way to take thim with you: put them all together and they get smashed. That was a shame. They should find a better way of taking pastry home

They try to make some of the pastries you'll find in the States, such as eclair, cinnamon buns, donuts. Although not the same, it's close enough to satisfy. The prices are also very reasonable. The local desserts are very good, such as 4-leches, flan, etc. Soon, the will serve pizza!

We found this bakery within minutes of arriving in Esteli and sat down to have some of the best pico pastry and incredible donuts. We visited repeatedly during our week in the city. They have a wide selection, delicious food and friendly staff.

We were very lucky to find this gem in Esteli. We have traveled throughout Central America and have found the pastries and baking just don't taste as good as they do at home in Canada. We find the baking somewhat bland compared to what we are used to . But Amayte's was like a taste of home. Excellent doughnuts and... More

Description
This is a wonderful bakery that has excellent baked goods and also sells pizza. We did not try the pizza but we did sample the donuts. They were the best we have tasted in Central America. We have trveled CA for 9 months and we have tried many bakeries! This one reminded us most of the baking we have at home in Canada or that we have had in the US. Our friend from Holland really enjoyed them as well!Thank you for your consideration.
