Cozy place with great food and drinks. Nice cocktails. Supports different social, local projects. You can book cigar tours here. Very close to various hostels and the tourist office treehuggers.

Great spot with a wide variety of food including lots of "local" food. Went a few times during our stay. Also has a lot of tourist information about the area. Definitely check it out!

My partner & I had dinner here in late February. Good menu selection - local and international items. Healthy glass of wine, moderately priced. Full bar service. Patronized by expats, locals and travellers. Service was fine as was the food - not outstanding but good nevertheless. Prices moderate.

This nice little cafe and eatery is part of a community of services which includes the treehuggers tour agency and the Luna international hostel. Their boiled coffee is great and oily. Their espresso is rich and complex.

We had the Fajitas and they were very good. Service was a little slow but worth the wait. Prices were average for the country. While we were waiting I slipped across the street to the associated tour company and had them set up a map of 6 cigar places to stop. Very helpful and a good meal to boot.

The food there was great, the papas fritas were very tasty! Service was good as well, the only thing we had a hard time with was the smoke... very hard to get away from the cigar smoke!

Thanks for your nice comments about our food and service! Sorry to hear that you were bothered by the smoking, and just to let you and others know that it’s only allowed to smoke in the the first room which is open to the street. In the room turning to the backyard smoking is not allowed, so that’s a good... More

Very strange that so many visitors from European countries (Holland, UK, Germany) do smoke in this café, something that has been forbidden in their own countries for many years. Your food is fine, your drinks (I had a glass of your housewine) just fine, your choice of music even excellent but I don't get it that you allow some of... More

Good food if you are looking for locally produced foods. Greens from Esteli and surroundings and locally made nacatamales. Try the potatoe wedges very nice. Even if you don't want a single meal you can mix and match....

If you are looking for a cozy place to unwind and relax, Café Luz y Luna is perfect. Enjoy feeling welcomed by courteous and friendly staff. The menu offers quite a bit for drink options besides coffee, try a Nica beer with your coffee. A liter of Victoria is 55 córdobas or try a Mytos pale ale for 75 córdobas/bottle.... More

Being the best bar in town is not hard as there is not much to do. But... the papas fritas are a must eat! We were fortunate to have live music two nights in a row. Beautiful Spanish songs with guitar for almost two hours. With a cold Toña a good place to unwind after an active day!

Thank Anieke
