This place is nothing special. It does what it says - serves pub food but seemingly not all the time. Standard fayre, and the service could be better.

We had two meals at the Talbot Arms and they were both really good. The Carvery on Sunday was the best Carvery we had ever had anywhere in the country.It was delicious.

Absolutley no trouble in providing a lovely freshly cooked gluten free evening meal on arrival. Food was excellent and plenty too. lovely surroundings and great accommodation.
The produce is all sourced local , cooked by steve who is chef and really taste wow !!!!. I would really recommend eating here.
