Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Purchased an Almond Croissant from Noisette, Bentleigh today. Worst croissant ever, stale and not enjoyable at all. I’m sure it was a few days old! Will not be returning to Noisette, Bentleigh

Let me first say that Noisette is not cheap but the quality is excellent. Their croissants are exactly like in France and they actually wholesale to lots of cafes in the southeastern suburbs. Personally I won't buy a croissant anywhere unless it's from Noisette. The...large cakes to buy are sensational - especially the passionfruit one. The cake size is smallish but they are very rich and sumptuous. If you want to eat patisseries like the ones in France, this is the place to get them. If you are on a budget then save up and come here for a special treat - mother day, a birthday, New Years day or Christmas. If you are French - they make a delicious Bûche De Noel which you need to order in advance.More

Visited days before Xmas. I heard the staff saying they would be open Xmas morning til midday. Being a sad coffee addict I was first surprised, then pleasantly relieved. Some rare days I can go without an espresso, Xmas just gone wasn't one of them....Noisette in Bentleigh also has beautiful breads and pastries but don't expect fresh ones on Xmas morning. The staff on our visit with family and friends were very helpful- sourcing an extra table & chairs & because we were outside they lowered the blind for shade from the unusually warm Melbourne sun. Thanks Noisette.More

OMG!!! A touch of Paris right in the heart of Bentleigh! I am hooked. Fabulous service, prompt and respectful. The baguettes are pure French. Crisp and filled with the most delicious fillings. The patisseries are magnificent and authentic. However far you have to come believe...me it is worth the trip. If tgere were six stars that would be my score!More

Good coffe and great croque Monsieur plus lots of lovely cakes (quite expensive though) the cafe could do with some sound attenuation because the visits are brief due to the extreme sound/noise level.

Overall the food is fresh the coffee is very good and the service is normally very nice also The only reason I didn't rate this as a five is because of the availability of the food as quite often they run out of certain foods...due to being constantly busyMore

This is a very popular spot for coffee, pastries, cakes and breads. In winter they have soup. Their coffee is better than average and the have a good range of quality cakes and pastries. Loaves of bread can also be purchased. The staff are very...friendly and can tell you about the products and if asked will recommend something to your tastes.More

I went here with my husband and family and the staff were more than accomodating. They have an excellent range of savoury and sweets which taste exquisite but are in the upper price range but I would say it is worth it. The coffee is...amazing and one of the best I have ever had. Located in a convenient location I would be happy to come back again.More

We went t to Noisette yesterday. Their bread, coffee and selection of cakes are good. However, this cafe is supposedly French. If I go to a French cafe/restaurant I am looking for a 'French' experience. This certainly was not evident. Loaves of bread and gateaux...bought to take away are thrown into bags, not wrapped with pride, as the French do. I asked, but not one French person worked there. Why pretend to be a French cafe when you are not? Disappointing! Could be so much better if it had the true French feel. We have tons of cafes in Melbourne that are all very similar. Shame, but Noisette, Bentleigh, is missing a great opportunity.More
