Staying elsewhere locally, we popped in for an early evening meal, and considered it great value good food - with an excellent local Welsh bitter. Will return when we come back to the area next year.

Although The Harp Inn was very busy, on a wet evening, space was found for us and we were served promptly. The meal was great and we would go there again when in the area.

I am old enough to recall the days when pubs were centres of their communities: places for locals of every stripe to meet and talk, and where visitors were made to feel welcome. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. Until quite by accident I walked...More
