Had a meal with the better half this evening and the duck was sublime, the chef shared some trade secrets, literally no fat whatsoever . Highly recommended, very friendly staff and the owners are really friendly. I will be bringing family and friends here again,...I simply cannot recommend this place enough. Also, the cocktails were beautiful and spot on.More

Visited last evening, Friday 11/9/20. Restaurant busy but very competent staff had the place running like clockwork. Really enjoyed the starter of Brie wedges and the ice cream dessert but the main of steak tordoros rossini was absolutely amazing. The nicest meal I’ve had in...months. Presentation was perfect as was the portion size but the most important thing is the taste which was stunning. Soft steak cooked perfectly tasty pate and a crunchy crouton. Mushroom sauce delicious and was a generous serving. I opted for the garlic potatoes after deliberating between the options of chips or garlic potatoes (other options available eg jacket potato or boiled new potatoes) and man I was not disappointed. Not one morsel was sent back and my advice would be to wear loose clothing or at least an elasticated waist!! All washed down with a couple of glasses of tia maria made for a perfect evening. Unfortunately I don’t have any pics to post as I was too busy enjoying. As a side note there are good infection control precautions in place and the staff deserve to be commended for the seamless process they executed the process. Don’t delay book today.More

Partner and myself visited this venue last night. Trendy cocktail bar inside. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My partner had the orange duck with mashed potato mixed with spinach and said it was lovely. I went for the 12oz gammon....Chips were dripping in grease as was the onion ring but the gammon was tender and lean and a lovely piece. A shame only corrs and carling was only on offer from the tap but it did the job I suppose. Would come again despite my meal.More

We ate dinner here with our children. The staff were friendly although the young waitress who ended up taking our order made a mistake which really upset one of our children and out of all the staff working she seemed a bit disinterested like her...mind and heart were not really in it. Apart from that we had a good experience. The menu was very 'standard pub food' for both children and adults apart from a fish dish which I chose and it was delicious. My husband had gamon, egg and chips and my children had standard nuggets, sausage with chips. I do appreciate it when restaurants offer at least one children's meal which isn't nuggets, sausage, burger, or fish and chips but this is a criticism I could level at a large percentage of restaurants. The atmosphere was ok. The toilets were clean although lacking space and when taking a child it was a squash getting us both in and out. Overall a pleasant experience - especially my main meal for which I'm giving the place 4 stars.More

Me & 5 friends stayed here the last 2 nights before Boris shut all pubs clubs & restaurants . We had an amazing time here . Natalie & Ben are the most loveliest hosts they went out of there way to make sure our stay...was perfect. Amazing food cooked by Ben . Highly recommend to stay here or even for something to eat . I wish them well & pray that they both come out of this bad situation so everyone can enjoy all the hard work that this couple has put in to this business. My daughter and I came in her for breakfast and we was not disappointed! The size of the breakfast is very generous given the price! Staff are lovely, and very accommodating, even with a hyperactive three year old! Decor throughout is also stunning.
