Very pleased to find this restaurant open during Covid-19 restrictions. Parking, outside seating all available. Quality of food excellent; table service as good as could be expected, social distancing and hygiene all accounted for.

Decided to give Martha’s a try as we’d visited the garden centre next door many times and always wanted to eat there. Called in this week for a breakfast, waited at the requested point to be seated by a member of staff. Sat down and...waited some time for three female staff members to have their chat behind the counter before coming to take our order. The order came quite quickly. The Toast was only half toasted, like the slice of bread was twice the size of the toaster. Cold plates, poor quality Sausage and bacon dripping in fat that covered the plate. Eggs sloppy and cool too. Not a cheap place to visit especially with low quality food items. Will not return, I’m sure Tesco down the road would provide a better breakfast and service.More

On arrival on the 20th of September as a family of 4 we were greeted by the manager. Before ordering we were asked by her to "order as soon as, because the kitchens stopping breakfast any minute". We looked at the menu and decided. We...then aprraoched the till and asked the manager "could you possibly do ham, chips and salad due to a member of the family being coeliac" her response was "no, it's breakfasts if you want one or sunday roasts". Very unprofessional if you ask me! After a recheck of the menu we ordered 3 small breakfasts, 2 with no mushroom and tomato and 1 of them with scrambled egg instead of fried and extra beans, and 1 large breafast with an extra round of toast. 3 cocacolas and 1 cloudy lemonade. The bill was paid being £29.50. Whilst enjoying the sun outside waiting for our food, a plate of 4 slices of toast was placed on the table by a young and polite waitress which we thought was the extra round that was orderd with the large. 3 small breakfast were then handed out, no sign of a piece of toast on any which it states on the menu. She infromed us placing the 3rd plate on the table there was no mushrooms left in the building. The large was the last meal to be recieved. I asked the waitress if I could have a handful of salt, pepper and ketchup. Within seconds there was a dish full of exactly what I asked for. Still no sign of a slice of toast for each of the small breakfasts. I then called a different waitress and asked for the toast that we were missing, she replied "is it just 3 slices your missing". I informed her it was and she said "I'll grab it for you now". Slowly tucking into our food she then brought our toast that we were missing and informed us we had pay for it as we had already recieved our toast. But we were all under the influence that the plate of 4 slices was the extra round that was ordered with the large. The 3 freshly made slices were then taken away. 15/20 minutes later still no toast for the small breakfasts. Apon finishing my breakfast I then went to the till and asked where my toast was that was meant to come with the smalls. The manager informed me I already receievd it. I then asked where's the extra round that we ordered if we've already revived the toast for the smalls! She said you've had that too. After explaining to her that I ordered 4 breakfasts that means thats 4 pieces before the extra round is even thought of. I think she got the fact she was wrong because she started rasing her voice telling me the round of toast wasn't ordered and if I want more I need to pay for it. I said to her I'll have the toast free considering there was no mushrooms on the 3 breakfasts that wanted it. She said the toast is more expensive be £1.25 a slice!! Daylight robbery that is. Mushrooms were 55p, thats £1.65 for the 3 mushrooms we didn't recieved. I then politely told her that she owes me money due to not reviving the toast or mushrooms which they didn't even have even tho they state it on the menu. After receiving 50p I told her she was very rude and I will be leaving a review and won't be attending again! Not only daylight robbery for the toast but very unprofessional and rude manager. Won't be recommending to anyone!More

Visited today 8th September for a family lunch. Good menu, good choice , reasonable prices, large portions. Booking is essential. Only criticism is that none of the staff or waitresses were wearing masks, which was a concern. Very nice large garden centre with an abundant...of choice of qood quality plants and accessories. Large car park.More

Beef not freshly cooked, sliced from bulk buy. Cauliflower cheese awful, hard and runny sauce. Mashed potatoes - just potatoes no butter/creamed. Roasties were hard to cut.

We visited for Sunday lunch today, unfortunately the food was very slow to arrive even though the restaurant was not full and they were only serving a roast. However, the serving staff were excellent, working very hard to please us following the slowness and the...food was very tasty. We will return for Sunday lunch another time where I am confident we will see it in it’s full speedy glory.More

Decided to go for lunch at Martha’s, and although a lovely day it was great to sit inside again! We had forgotten it was the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, so was a great bonus to have our meal so cheap! An All Day...Breakfast and Panini lunch was brilliant, as was the latte. Will definitely be returning. The hand sanitiser station, layout, glass screens and track and trace in place all meant it felt like a safe environment.More

I decided to go to Martha's Kitchen after frantically looking for somewhere to have lunch around the Pembroke area. I had no idea what to expect, I was just looking for somewhere where I could grab a quick bite to eat. Well I was not...disappointed. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful and did not put a foot wrong. Although everyone had to be seated outside due to current regulations, they did an incredible job of decorating the area considering it was previously just a bit of the car park. Although we could not eat inside, after going in to order you could see how lovely the interior was and I cannot wait to return when the inside is open to everyone. I ordered a chrizo, mozzarella and salsa panini and a side of chips and it was absolutely delightful (it also came with some salad and nachos). I will definitely be returning to this establishment and will continue to encourage others to visit also.More
