We had a fantastic meal all cooked to perfection. The atmosphere in this pub is very warm and inviting. There is a large wine selection and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Definately recommend.

We've been coming here for a few years, but it's been really good of late. Fantastic if you like fish, as it's their speciality, and there is a board of the daily catches. The whitebait is one of my favourites, and they give you masses...More

i have been here twice in the last week. The first visit, I had the hamburger which pretty much fell apart as it was dry but it tasted ok. The Apple Crumble had more crust/crumble than apple but the meal was ok. Sunday we arrived...More

We are always looking for place to eat that is personal and welcoming and although we are 20 minutes drive away, we decided to give the Golden Pot a try. Given we were celebrating my father's 87th birthday, I needed to ensure his needs were...More

Unfortunately you seem to have given an inaccurate version of events. You had two steaks, both identical, yet only complained about one. Neither were 'swimming in blood' but had been cooked and presented as ordered. We even cooked you another one in exactly the same...More

So saying new staff I'd always a big of a red flag, but in this case it was not a negative. The staff worked really hard to help us out. The pub also got busy after we arrived which was good. The food was a...More

Yes I believe so, the owner has a dog himself. I remember dogs being in there around the bar area, but that was about 18 months ago, you can always ring and check.
