Went for lunch on a Wednesday food was amazing and the two for 12.50£ deal was simply perfection. In fact it was so good we later returned for the Italian deal in the evening!! The chicken with tapanade was so tender and delicious and the tiramisu was classic. Service was very tentative and friendly, constantly attending our table and making... More

Upon arrival my self and my friends ordered coffee, I asked for a soya latte. I was met with a rather rude and indignant 'we don't have soya'. Really, in this day and age? So the restaurant is advertised as gluten free and vegetarian options. Where? There staff were friendly at times but some were offhand. When some of us... More

We visited here for a meal with family. There was a fair selection of pub food available. Some nice Fullers Honey dew ale on tap! the service was good and the food tasty and portion size good. I would recommend a visit if in the area.

My original order had to be changed from the expected ravioli to what I can only describe... More

Having been many times to this pub for weekday meals was surprised by Sunday roast.Chicken was okay but vegetables virtually raw ,tasteless watery gravy and very slow service.Seemed to be a lot f new staff so hopefully was just a bad day.No apology when I complained about the veg.

Just stopped off for a coffee to meet up with some old friends. The staff were friendly and chatty and the pub had character. I did see a really tasty looking roast beef go past me!

Just called in for a snack as it was one of the places my Mum and Dad took me to in the 1950's. Much bigger than then and surroundings more built up with new busy roads. Seemed to be popular with what appeared to be regular business customers. The gardens were busy being such beautiful weather with lots eating outside.... More

I recently booked a table for my Wife and I and 4 other family members for a special birthday treat. We had previously checked the table we wanted and booked a nice table near a warm log fire. We had a couple of drinks in the bar before moving down to our table, that's when I spotted trouble, this part... More
