Whilst tables reserved they fitted me in. Traditional looking pub. Good menu and specials. The sole was large but overlooked and too buttery. Plenty of veg. Whitebait starter good but portion far too large. Restaurant prices in a pub.

Stopped by for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Lady behind bar was on her own, but very efficient. She was very polite and professional, and the service was seamless. Food very good. French onion soup delicious. Nice traditional friendly pub.
