Had a great time at The Pheasant last night. The Sesame Asian Beef Salad was delicious. The Black Bream was brilliant too. They're redoing some of the decor, so hence 4 star Pub/restaurant rating. Summer in the beer garden would be great.

Have visited here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Food is lovely and local/seasonal produce is always used. They cater well for children. Definitely recommend

Both cleaned our plates. Felt the need to keep eating as the food was so nice. Shropshire gold served just right as well. Well worth a visit

We stopped off for food and were quite impressed! I had the chicken, mushroom and ham hock pie - very good apart from the pastry, I think it was 'filo' and I cant be doing with it - tasteless, give me a good shortcrust all day long..!! Pete had the fish and chips - very good and no bones. Definitely... More

We recently held our daughters wedding reception at the Pheasant. She wanted a small reception, friendly and not too formal. The pheasant looked like the ideal place and indeed it turned out to be! The staff could not have been more helpful setting up, service on the day was swift and friendly. Lots of help re-setting the room for the... More

Booked a table an hour in advance only for the servers to have no record of us. The server then had to go to the bar to check if they had Blue Moon beer on tap as they hadn't heard of it, then later spilled half the beer placing it on the table... Maybe just a lack of training. Food... More

Hadn't booked, table of three. The food was lovely and the surroundings were nice. Food was of a very good standard, beautiful presentation and flavours worked well. Some of the staff i would say were outstanding and some needed extra training. As new in the area we will be returning!!! Thanks for a nice Sunday lunch
