Have been here as a group on a quiet evening. Good local food, friendly service, large selection of local and Italian wines. I recommend not only the restaurant, but also the nice little village on a hill above Lugano.

Very nice and cozy family owned restaurant in a super charming little town above lake Lugano. The dishes are all freshly prepared and extremely tasty. Service is friendly, however, if very busy as when we were there, you might have to wait a bit. Definitely a sure place to go back!

The deer filet with chanterelles was excellent. Right degree of preparation. The other meals of the party also were tasty. The chestnut desert was delicious, although the amount of chantilly was a bit too much for some. The wine list, at least the reds, was exclusively Ticino wines. We had an excellent Tre Terre, but it was a gamble.

We loved everything about this restaurant which was in walking distance from our hotel. Got 3 courses each and equally surprised by the quality of each dish

We missed the ferry back to Lugano after a LONG hike - stopped in this beautiful lakeside restaurant to get help. The food and drink were great, and the owner/manager helped us get a taxi back to our car near Lugano. We owe him big time. Really, really nice people.

On a beautiful Saturday hike, we crossed the lovely village of Carona and found this jewel : its sunny terrace made us sit there although we had a pic nic packed! One of the very friend waitresses (they are two sisters) explained the menu to us:we were all charmed by the crespelle a la fiorentina! Highly recommended!

What a fantastic surprise. In the heart of Carona Village, a beautiful village on top of San Salvatore mountain, right above Lugano Lake, we went for dinner at Ristorante Posta. We sat outside where there's an inspiring enchanting garden. Ambience is just amazing and the food too. Delicious!

Friday, March 27, 2015 we had a delicious dinner at this nice Restaurant in Carona, a small village on the hill range between Monte San Salvatore and Morcote in the Ticino (Switzerland). It is really worth to visit this place.
