We had a takeaway fish and chips to eat overlooking the sea. The chips were good, but the haddock was tough and overlooked. Would not rush back here again.

It was a cold wet Autum day, but it was our first day of our holidays, and by damn I needed a week off work :O To be honest we planned to eat in the Lime Crab, but it was raining and didnt want to sit outside, so we popped into the Captians Rendezvous. The lady who served us was... More

As we were by the sea side why not have fish and chips. As I have allergies I asked for gluten free and they could do it, there was a short wait for it to be cooked separate, when it arrived it looked very nice, it was very tasty and plenty of it. The staff are really friendly and you... More

A special treat for me and my wife as we were on holiday, my wife chose this retuarant as she liked the name and we were not disappointed in the slightest. Good quality fish and chips for a reasonable price and very good portion sizes too. Considering the restaurant was quite busy I did not have to wait long to... More

Decided to try this more traditional chippy as the queue at the more. "trendy" chippy was huge but we were pleasantly surprised by the service and how good the food was. Will certainly go back again now we know it's good. Had medium fish and it was big enough to be a large had loads left over.

Thank Judith D
