We came here for food on a Sunday around 6.30. Not being local to the area we had been recommended the greyhound by several people. The pub was almost empty with just 2 other couples eating. There were no menus on the table. We had to stand and read a chalk board. Once ordered the food came out quickly and... More

We took my husbands parents here for supper on Friday evening, we booked via there website during the week and got a prompt reply confirming the booking. When we arrived at the pub we found our table straight away as it had a little name board on it with our name on which I really liked and we could sit... More

Picking out a spot for lunch en route can be tricky, but I was attracted by the menu online and we knew we had got it right as soon as we arrived - a warm welcome from a positive girl, who found us a table even though we had not booked and could not have been warmer or more obliging.... More

Visited here with my inlaws for my husband's birthday. The staff were super, so friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend. They even left a birthday message on the table and sung to my hubby when they brought out his pud.

Excellent food and top class service we will certainly returning as the evening was very pleasant. The staff were attentive without being overly so. Great beer and excellent dinner.

Stopped off here for a lunch based on previous trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Both food and service was outstanding and will definitely be returning and have already booked for another lunch in a fortnight. An excellent place too eat and drink!

My son booked this for three of us to go for Good Friday lunch. I am so pleased he did. I was a bit dubious from the outside but 'never judge a book by the cover' certainly paid off. The interior was clean light and airy and the staff were very welcoming. The food was to die for. Very scrumptious.... More

It was market day so nice and busy but still a warm welcome. We went for the light bites which were a little on the pricey side until you saw the portions. Most expensive was the ploughman's but when it came! Enough for two. Decor was smart as were the furnishings. A pleasant overall experience and a good example of... More

After a visit to Stonehenge today we found this place on TripAdvisor and so glad we decided to try it out! Great service and even better food. Plenty of choice with a large specials board as well. Highly recommend the crumbed Brie, steak bacon and ale pie and the crumbed chicken breast. We could not fault the food at all... More

We have visited this pub on several occasions on our travels from Cornwall and each time has been faultless. The staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating and the food never lets it down. Good value, good service and a comfortable, cosy pub, what more could you wish for? We'll be back again soon!
