celebrated my wife's birthday at Sud with friends and we were very impressed with the food and service, especially the entree degustation. to. Been there a couple of times since. Only complaint was that the serves were too big :)
We were treated a pre Christmas dinner by friends and were impressed by the quality of food and service since our last visit several years ago. I had the fish of the day, flounder, that was delicious. Others had pasta dishes that were also very...competently prepared. Service was prompt and friendly.More
It’s our first time visiting. We are in love with their friendly service and their authentic Italian food. They are prepared with fresh ingredients and it’s absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant and will come back again!
We’d driven by the restaurant but had never tried it ourselves so decided to give it a go for a family birthday lunch. Seemed very quiet when we arrived but very busy by the time we left a couple of hours later. They have a...lovely range of dishes but we all chose off the specials menu for our mains. Their antipasto platter could be a little more generous but we did get a small complimentary bowl of olives. We accompanied our shared entrees with a bruschetta pizza.
Across the diners we chose the Fregola with seafood, sooooooooo delightfully fresh and tasty - a winner, the Cavatelli alla Norma - also a winner, the stracciatella and barramundi also deemed delicious. Our mains were sufficient and very much enjoyed.
The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful and unendingly polite to the eldest member of our party who didn’t worry about voicing their very firm views about everything.
We didn’t order dessert but did notice a very enticing looking Ricotta and Pear tart.More
Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor which we thought we'd try. The place is rustic and located on the corner street. Unfortunately, if you didn't book and you walked in like our family we got seating in this makeshift garage converting into a garden courtyard, did...a really nice job but sitting there in winter, well I had mixed reviews being the only family in the garden area. However, the staff was accommodating by offering blankets and garden heater.
The restaurant is located in a quiet suburb which is fair away from the local shops, not sure if I would make that big of an effort for the food especially if you do a walk-in. Booking is a must!
The menu selection was small and the food was great which we got our food pretty quick.More
Nicely fitted out and not too noisy for an Italian eatery.
Service is enthusiastic and the staff seem to be authentic Italian.
Had a special of whole meal spaghetti with seafood in a creamy sauce. Loved it.
A ricotta cannoli for dessert was also delightful.
Very impressed with this place.
Having Sicilian heritage, their southern style Italian was just as promised, with full of flavour.
Pasta is perfect. Pizza’s are very good. Dessert (the pizza dough pieces with Nutella - are worth every cent).
Well done, we’ll be eating here...againMore
