How lovely to have a cafe in the area of the Library with a greenery outlook. Coffee is great and so are the snacks and sandwiches/rolls.

Thank you Joy for your lovely review, we look forward to welcoming you back many times 😁☕️
We always enjoy our time together and also the food is delicious. Sitting out on the verandah is always very pleasant. A very congenial manager.
Great services and good coffee, the panini/sandwiches are tasty and fresh. Overall a great place with a nice calming ambience to read a book or do some quite work.
Over the years our family and many others have encountered this cafe owner very rude and unfriendly to the customers and inconsiderate smoking outside on the front and carpark at the library in front of children and seniors. There's a childcare just nextdoor which parents...need to past by him for pickup/dropoff!! We also felt uncomfortable entering the cafe anymore after our friends complained how unfriendly he was. Its ashamed to see such a wonderful library and environment polluted by this person!!More
Dear Anonymous, although we can appreciate you can have a general opinion on a person or business owner, anonymous trolling is not called for against a person when the platform is for reviews about the Cafe itself, I mean, is the coffee good? is the...More

Just had our end of year lunch here on the balcony at Grounds Cafe at Concord Library. Beautiful setting and food excellent. The staff were super helpful and friendly making for a fun occasion. I would heartily recommend to all.
Thank you for your lovely review, we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
I intend to go to Knowledge Grounds Cafe because of the (terrible) reviews. It appears people have become a little disrespectful of this being at public eating place providing a service to many customers, besides just themselves. I would not like to be seated where...someone has had their feet on chairs or couches, or where children have crawled all over the place and dropped food. I walk out of restaurants if I see nappies being changed in public places, kids crawling over chairs, bench tops, or running around loudly and unsupervised. If I was a cafe/restaurant owner, I would also not appreciate customers bringing food in from outside. Everyday etiquette is also about common sense and politeness. People, please put your foot in the owner/managers shoes - think about others, not just yourself.More

A wonderful little cafe next to the Library. Very baby and child friendly. The staff are always polite and helpful. The coffee is great and I highly recommend the Turkish Rolls and Cheesecake!
Thank you for your lovely review, we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
We visited Knowledge Grounds Cafe this morning and had a lovely time. We were there with our little granddaughter to borrow some books from the Library. As it turned out we were too early so sat down on the lovely sofas in the Cafe and...enjoyed some tasty coffee and cake, until the Library opened. The service was quick and friendly. We will be doing this more often now!More
Thank you for your lovely review Dimitris, we look forward to welcoming you back soon and regularly.
Finishing my PhD and spend at least 2 days a wee in here. Simon is a lovely guy that seems genuine and friendly to all his customers. Always greeted with a smile and a chat. Wouldn’t survive at the moment without him. The coffee and...food is great and an amazing selection of fresh food for such a small place. Great service, great food. What else do you need?More
Thank you for your lovely review Tom, we hope your studies are continuing well.
Happy to recommend this place for anyone! Get free wifi; baristar and cheap eat; has plenty of seating inside and outside. Access to all library facilities. Good place for meet ups
Thank you for your lovely review, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back.
I have been coming to this cafe for over three years now as it is a place where I complete my online studies whilst at uni. Today I was absolutely shocked when asked not to eat a small cake (banana bread) that I brought from...home, even though I had purchased a coffee from the premises, which may I add was $5.50. I am not one to ever complain online about bad service or about bad experiences I’ve had when visiting cafes or restaurants in the past, but this behaviour was very disappointing. I do not believe it was a problem that I was having banana bread from home whilst enjoying my coffee that I had purchased from the cafe. The cafe was not completely full with customers and people were not waiting for a table therefore there should be no reason for this to be a problem. I am beyond disappointed and will most certainly not be a returning customer.More
Thank you Natasha for taking the time to write a review for our business, reviews are a very valuable tool for customers to know about our cafe. However knowing what a negative review can do to a small, local business we hope our customers would...More

Thanks so much for your lovely review, we look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Owner constantly walking around and not at front desk. He was telling customers how to sit. I was told to readjust the way I was sitting, as the couches had just been drycleaned. As a paying customer, I believe it is my right to sit...how I wish. For the rest of my time in the cafe, I was forced to sit uncomfortably. Will not be back, and will not spend my money here again.More
Thank you for your feedback, in response, you were politely asked to remove your feet (with shoes on) from the sofa. We respect your right to choose where you spend your time and money, and ask that our patrons show the same amount of respect...More
Dear Caroline, I go to the knowledge grounds cafe nearly every day of the year because the owner is a great guy. He doesn't do the things that you falsely accused him of doing. I'm a disabled person and hes gone to the extent of...making me a special biscuit to conforms to my diet. You're simply not believable.More
