I have eaten here previously and always loved my meal, today being no exception. Unfortunately, I choked on a piece of lettuce and was unable to breath causing not only me but others in the restaurant to panic. I would like to thank the manager and staff for their prompt professional actions which ensured a positive outcome for me. I cannot praise them enough.

A fantastic option for a family event

Recently had my son's Christening at Fratelli & Co and I would highly recommend the venue to anyone organising a small, intimate gathering. The owner Rob was easy to deal with, and went above and beyond to cater for what we wanted on the day. It can be hard to please 45 people, although everyone who came, commented on how much food there was and how good every meal was. The set menus are a great option and we'll definitely be back for the next event.

Awesome food and service

This place was awesome. Loved the ambience and the fit out in this place. Food was sensational as was the service from both our waitress and one of the owners. Well done folks. First time there but will be returning with friends next time.

Disappointing

This was unfortunately a frustrating and disappointing night. It was a VERY slow wait to be served in any way… one of those nights, that despite lovely companionship, you just cannot but get anxious thinking that you have been perpetually overlooked. And then the waiter turned on his heel on the 2 occasions that we asked him questions about the menu, with no answer given to our query. That was our experience from go to woe with him. But the worst part of the whole night perhaps came after my $12 glass of Prosecco arrived totally flat and undrinkable, with not one single bubble anywhere, and for the first time in my whole life, I had to ask for that glass of alcohol to be replaced. My husband and I were left gobsmacked when the reason given by the waiter for the dreadful Prosecco was that it probably came from a bottle that had been opened a few days ago. Heavens! Triple Eeeeeeek!!!! Truly, from our point of view, it was an experience of just wanting the restaurant visit over. And with $44 wagyu steak ordered… it wasn’t a cheap disappointment.

So disappointed after hyping the place up

I have been to Fratelli a number of times and thought their food was fantastic. On my latest visit with friends it was a pretty woeful experience. I’m not sure why we had issues with cold food with every course - cold chewy crumbed mozzarella instead of hot and oozy, very hard and chewy pizza base for the bruschetta, mediocre and lukewarm cheese wheel spaghetti which is normally divine, two cold and hard sticky date puddings that were microwaved -ice cream strawberries and all - when we complained, and an inedible creme brûlée. Service was a little poor, sometimes having to ask multiple times for things we ordered. Pretty embarrassed that I highly recommended this place to friends. I won’t be going back.

Disappointing

The food average at best. Order the deep fried zucchini flowers the batter was soooo thick and tasteless, mushroom arancini was disappointing one tiny slither of mushroom. Pizza was anemic looking and tasteless . The older waiter ( male) needs to be trained properly! The two young male waiters “fantastic”. Not in a hurry to go back!

Loved the pasta

On arrival, the staff seemed a little unhappy who couldn't be bothered to be friendly. When knew we didn't make a reservation, they seemed reluctant to let us in even though more than half of the place is empty. But no dramas. Food was great. Both my friend and I ordered pasta, they're all delicious. I ordered a cocktail too - nice and standard. Would go back for the pasta though!

Great Italian food & Pizza

We throughly enjoyed our food and loved the friendliness of Robert and his staff. The pizzas were authentic and very tasty. The business is known for the quality of the food and ambience of the location..Loved the many photos and pictures in the restaurant.

NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE

We sat down outside at an empty table (there were at least three empty ones), and were “greeted” by a waiter with an angry tone who admonished us for not waiting to be seated. He had no problem as to where we sat so why the need for this attitude? A nicer way would have been to say that next time you come, could you please check in first? And how about a greeting first? We were then asked by two different waiters if we would like water (we said yes please). After a further 15 minutes (we timed it), and having no water brought to our table, and no waiter coming to our table either, we gave up and walked out. We then went to a really popular, and far busier restaurant, and were greeted when we arrived, and served promptly - and the food was delicious. Their staff were well trained and attentive. Fratelli, you need to lift your game - there are numerous restaurants competing with you close by. You will lose customers if this attitude continues.

Happy lunch with family and friends at delicious Italian restaurant

Both the food and hospitality were excellent. Definitely we’ll go there again.We were also lucky to stay longer as it wasn’t too busy. The waiters suggested dessert options for us to share and we really enjoyed following their suggestions.

Dissapointed

After reading on here we thought Fratelli would be great but we returned a bottle of water with a coachroach at the bottom, the owners were apologetic but still not a good way to start the meal. The food was generally ok however we returned one of the two tiramisu's we ordered as it had clearly gone off..a table of Mums can tell when something is sour. The owner was not apologetic and insisted it was still good and even had a bite out of it to prove it which we thought was completely unprofessional. we were offered no compensation or substitute. poor service and wouldn't go back there again.

Don't trust the menu prices!!

The food at the restaurant is good but the waiter was difficult. Previously we have enjoyed great service from a lovely young waiter, but last night a different waiter attended our table. He was loud and pushy. We made our decision to BYO based on the menu price of $8 per bottle. For a table of nine, with 3 bottles of wine, we expected to pay $24. We were charged $8 per person! The waiter said he told us the price when we ordered and we had to pay the $72 on the bill for BYO. The restaurant was noisy - maybe he told us?? He would not negotiate. We were regulars - not any more! There are lots of great restaurants in Concord. Stupid, short-term decisions ruin businesses. This possibly explains why the restaurant is not nearly as popular as it used to be.

Outstanding service, Great food

Would like to thank Robert and the team for an amazing evening and food tonight. It was Roberts second shift and the way he was speaking with customers taking orders and delivery of service was above and beyond.. Thank you very much for an amazing night and looking forward to many more enjoyable evenings at the restaurant

Best damn wheel of cheese pasta

Stunning restaurant, great food, great service, great atmosphere. I had the spaghetti alla carbonara, comes in a wheel of cheese before being served. 5 stars. Good wine and starters pretty good too. Nice range and the kids loved it.

A memorable Baby Shower Event!

A huge thankyou to Rob and his team. I celebrated my Baby Shower over the weekend and was truly a memorable experience. The food was absolutely amazing and the service we received was first class. The staff were delightful, professional, accommodating and made myself and the guests feel very welcome. Already looking forward to having my next event at Fratelli and Co !
