Went here for Lunch. Didn’t research it. It was pure luck. Fab lunch. Proper Italian Trattoria. Penne Ragu followed by steak with really proper chips. Local wine. Simple. Good value nosh. Worth the journey. Friendly staff.

We visited the restaurant several times, at the weekend good booked. Very friendly, local food (but no pizzas), pretty big food portions and (most important) tasty!! We will certainly come back :-)

"Al Cacciatore" is a family run restaurant in the middle of the Friulian countryside. It might take you a while to get there but you will not be disappointed. Locals acknowledge it to be one of the best game restaurants in the area. Its warm...atmosphere and friendly service make it an ideal place for friends' gatherings and family dine-outs ( i.e. your kids will have plenty of space to play while you enjoy your food!) Nicola, the owner, knows how to take good care of his customers, offering a remarkable selection of wines and a wide array of traditional Friulian dishes. The "Frico" (Montasio cheese with potatoes) is excellent and so is the wild boar with polenta. Other delicious specialties include "bisat" (eel) and "sepis" (squid) from the nearby lagoon. Prices are low and quality is excellent: highly recommended!More
