We went there spontaniously but it was a good choice. Nice Chef taking care of their guests in a nice renovated old italian farm. Very warm and nice atmosphere. The meal was very tasty and well done. each time we drive east-west on A4 between Trieste and Venice we get off at Latisana to reach this gem for lunch or dinner, a tete-a-tete or family or to meet friends. It is a great place in all seasons, with al fresco tables in...the warmer months and nice indoor dining in the cooler season. The food supervised by Carlo Piasentin is delicious, the menu varies from fish to meat (best hamburger in the world! with hand prepared chips) and some out of the ordinary pizzas, puddings are a must too. Wines from the local annexed vineyard are excellent value, a wine bar is also next door on the estate and more wines from around italy are available including some special beers and liquors to accompany each food. we asked for a good place to eat lunch while in Latisana and were directed to this restaurant which is easy to find along the main road to Trieste. We ordered some 'antipasti' and a main dish, tuna.
