Excellent afternoon tea. I would say you won't get a nicer afternoon tea anywhere else. Beautiful setting and lovely staff. Can't fault it.

It is always a bit unnerving when we drive up to an impressive house with good reputation for almost everything and instantly discover that we are the only ones there for dinner and later discovered that only 3 rooms were occupied in this country house...More

Hi jimmclendon Thank you for the 4/5 review of your recent visit to Raemoir. As much as every hotel would like to be 100% full 7 days a week it is not the case in the area just now and, with 6 rooms booked that...More

I picked the Venison dish, the Monkfish with Saffron mussels and Haddock and Chips. My Venison was probably the best dish of the three. Although, I felt the Venison itself was slightly overcooked. However, I still very much enjoyed the blue cheese crust on the...More

We were given a night's dinner bed and breakfast as a treat for my birthday and booked in for 3/12/16. Wonderful hotel. Georgian charm without Georgian draughts! The bedroom was stunning with amazing views over the estate. Crackling fires and Christmas decorations through the hotel...More

Had our Wedding at Raemoir House. Absolutely brilliant. Excellent service, and the most amazing food. All our guests loved the venue, and the fact that the layout, especially the comfortable, and homely lounge area allows people to mingle and chat, away from the dance floor...More

I had a bar lunch here recently with two friends. The bar is light and airy and not too crowded with tables. The staff were welcoming and quietly attentive. The food was excellent. There was no vegetarian main course on the menu but they soon...More

I was there for afternoon and we went smart casual, I'm guessing it would be slightly dressier in evening but no code as such.

This impressive granite Georgian mansion is everything you'd hope to find in a genuine Scottish Country House - indulgence, exclusivity, luxury, views, privacy, open fires, antiques and a Michelin recommended restaurant. The Big Fish Bar has been created from an antique four-poster bed and carries a large selection of Whiskies, Gins, Ports and Liqueurs. The Oval Dining room retains the original flock-velvet wall covering and is decorated in traditional formal style with all the sense of occasion and enjoyment that this implies, and the wood-panelled Sitting Room allows commanding views of the landscaped grounds and countryside beyond. The staff are professional and the Scottish menus are created by ex Skibo Castle chef Ethan Forsyth and his team using the best of ingredients foraged in the grounds and from the neighbouring estates and presented with a modern spirit.
