Although the dining is casual, you are greeted by a warm welcome and a bubbly glass of Prosecco. Not to miss for us (we have been several times) is the fritta mista. The Amatrciana is excellent but our grandsons are all about the Cacio a Pepe. A very family friendly, family run, not to miss, Umbrian restaurant.

Popped out for a quick pizza that turned into a complimentary prosecco, Frito mist as recommended in the reviews and a pizza each. Very popular venue and lucky to get in on a Sunday evening, especially as they were also hosting a wedding party. Hope to return to try the local menu too. Word of caution - we parked sensibly... Wonderful restaurant managed by a charming family. Excellent Umbrian specialities like a great strangozzi pasta with truffles and an outstanding thin crust pizza. Always good, always consistent and more than reasonable in the pocketbook.

When in Italy eat Pizza! Al Leone's are thin & crispy & cheap! You won't get better value for money & such friendly service.

Al Leone is an unpretentious restaurant in the small and quiet town of Collazzone. From its beautiful terrace you can enjoy the last rays of the sun kissing the surrounding hills while sipping a glass of prosecco that the owner will have offered you upon arrival at the restaurant. Food here is simple, fresh and delicious. The pasta, whether carbonara,... More

We were just driving around aimlessly exploring this beautiful part of Umbria when we cam across Collazzone. This beautiful hidden borgo took our breath away with its rosy hued beauty. We visited in November 'al'ora di pranzo' and so it was completely deserted but I did happen to find one chap closing his little shop and so I asked him... More

Have eaten there twice in the last week,. We went back the second time because we really enjoyed the food and friendliness from the first visit. All of the dishes we tried were great, but the Gnocchi with Quatro fornaggio was fabulous, with a very nice blend of cheeses and perfectly prepared home made gnocchi.

This restaurant does the most delicious bread on arrival, crusty, salty and hot, delicious. You are also offered a glass of Prosecco on arrival, which is free of charge. The pizzas are very very good. We tried some of the different local dishes too and were not disappointed. The pasta with artichoke hearts was really nice. I had stinko too,... More
